According to Fox News, He has autoimmune inner ear syndrome. If medications can't cure it, they can implant a chip and he will have all of his hearing back. So it is not hopeless.

The Doctor also stated that what Rush is able to do without his hearing, many people can't do with it. He was amazed that Rush still had the timing, and sound with so much hearing loss.

Only through bad times can you truly see the inner strength of a human being.

The preceding was in response to the fact that the Human Rights Campaign, the largest of the organizations shoving the homosexual agenda down our throats, has bought a bunch of advertising time during the Saturday morning cartoons.
