As a quick (and perhaps not well thought-through) solution:

How about a bus ride to an alternate (off-the-school-grounds) site? Parochial school kids are allowed to use buses for transportation between the public and parochial schools. That solution has been approved already.

Our love for religious may be the very thing that will bring us down. We allow the evil ones to set up shop to destroy us and call that a "religion". The USA has not gotten the message yet. Islam is out to destroy us..
