I am a recent graduate of Claremont McKenna College in Claremont (not that low class Montclare) where I studied the Classics and PPEE (Pomposity, Punditry, Excess, and Egocentricity). Currently I am traipsing around Europe from where I am condescending to post my remarks to you.
This year I am a Thomas J. Watson Fellow (and just to rub it in that is why my screen name is watsonfellow) studying Catholic (in the original Latin) and Islamic (in the originial squiggly lines) culture in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East (and if you're not impressed yet there's more).
I am a traditionalist Catholic who wakes up every morning to an alarm clock doing Gregorian Chants in the original Latin. I believe that scratching your crotch during Interleague Baseball games should be abolished and that Evelyn Waugh is the greatest snob of the century (I read all the Cliff Notes about him and saw the video of "The Loved One" 537 times.) I also support the idea that redundancy can be quite catchy as well as contagious.
First of all to prevent all the flamings, I should say that I am better than you because I am a traditional conservative, not one of you low-class populist conservatives. That being said, I thought it the height of rudeness for these firemen and policemen to boo and yell at the Senator this weekend. It lacked dignity and class. They should have kept their low-class populist mouths shut and have allowed the Senator to continue to believe that everybody loved her.
I wonder what Burke et al (I learned to quote Burke and et al in my PPEE classes to impress you ignorant populists) would have said about this conservative embrace of very questionable manners. Even my butler found this to be quite quite rude. In fact I'll never forget how he tut-tutted over it for a full 5 minutes.
The policemen and firemen should have just done nothing when she appeared on stage. Remember, we as traditional conservatives must not ever ever show our emotions in public. Much better for the Senator to just roll over the peons. Remember, the important thing is not to express your true opinions but to act in a dignified way.
Thank you and did I tell you that I speak fluent Latin, drink port wine, and did a lot of PPEE PPEE in college after drinking too much of that port wine (the labels were in Latin)?
If I was able to do that I would be posting on "Res Publica Liberalis".
In Late Latin that would be called "Tocque Les Tequatos."
That d00d was a total phoney a-hole. He claims to be a consevative, yet with all that's going on his first post is putting down the heroes in NY for booing the hilda-bitch.
I'm not sure everyone on this thread caught your drift. I hope JR or one of the mods banned that useless ass forever.
I think that JR and John should have a function that doesn't allow posting until you're registered for at least a month. It would get rid of a lot of drive by seminar posters and save bandwidth.
I didn't see it, but I heard a sound clip of it, That was the best sound I have heard in nine years. Impolite, naw beautiful ya.
Quite low class and much too Hollywood. I only air peck on the hands.
The first time this happened the cops and firemen went ape-shit, stormed the platform, ripped her limb from limb and then had fun running and sliding in her blood on the stage.
Fortunately the government employs this brooding loner who looks suspiciously like Tim McViegh who travels back in time and puts the kibosh on events like this that get out of hand.
It took him 4391 tries, but he finally got it toned down to mere 'Rudeness'.
This is one thing the press couldn't spin. I'm sick of staged events and reportage (as in gar-bage) fed to us low-lifes about what a man/woman of the people these @@#$%^# Clintons are.
And lose a terrific source for satire? Please No!
Pity about poor Hillary, don't you think? But what do you expect from such ruffians? I remember seeing thim on TV after the big event and they were all covered with dust and grime, and just didn't seem to have proper regard for deportmemnt at all. I don't recall that a single one saluted when the elected Senator of the People and the State of New York came there to lend a hand. Populists, indeed!
Well, I have to run. Richard Gere is giving a reading of poetry by Myra Angelou down at the Barnes and Nobles. Wouldn't want to miss it. Toodles!
Only one of them is making the grade...
LOL! Good one!
And is there a video of this floating around anywhere? That is something that could turn a bad day into a mighty fine one!
