First of all, to prevent the flamings, I should say that I am a strong conservative, and my number one issue is the life issue and so I am not at all a supporter of the Clintons etc.
That being said, I thought it the height of rudeness for these firemen and policemen to boo and yell at the Senator this weekend. It lacked dignity and class. I thought we conservatives were supposed to stand for such things, or perhaps this is just what we say, but do not practice.
I wonder what Burke et al would have said about this conservative embrace of very questionable manners.
The policemen and firemen should have just done nothing when she appeared on stage, no clapping, no booing, the silence would have expressed the same thing, but in a much more dignified way.
HUH? Is this animal for real? LOL. When society has it too easy that's when people like this develop. They produce nothing for societal use and the bettermen of mankinds practical needs.
I have a Degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics. I graduated from the University of Minnesota, which at the time was ranked 3rd in the nation in that discipline. I designed airplanes. I know enough to know that I do not NEARLY know everything....but guys like this really interest me....they have no practical use...the represent the classic parasitic element to a overdeveloped society. Any positive benefit of these people's education toward the arts is obscured by their egos....more on next post...
THUS SPEAK "The Citizens!"
"Hillary" is the sad product of a "Wellesley Education in the '70's,"---UTTERLY isolated from the Nation she inhabits, & utterly convinced that HER view of "reality" is accurate.
She was "booed" because she has proven herself to be intellectually incapable of modifying or adapting her "Wellesley Girl Indoctrination" to accomodate a reality Far Different from her "Programmed Beliefs!"---she was "booed" for manipulating a NY Senate race (without the Intellectual power to "sit as an equal" with the rest of the Senate).
She was "Booed" because of her utter inability to act in a dignified manner--or even ACT dignified!
She was "Booed" because she embraces the ANTITHESIS of the deeply held social & Religious beliefs of the VAST Majority of the "audience" of that concert! Her "Senate Representation of NY" is a FRAUD--& THESE "New Yorkers" KNOW IT!
Doc
Kudos for NY's heroes who once again outdid themselves with their patriotic expressions.
I came to praise you heroes and thank you for your brave work.
Now go listen to what she did say.
Maybe she forgot, just who the event was to help and honor.
I have aways wonder how a smart person can get themselves in as many dumb situations as she does.
Then again, she could be dumber than a sack of rocks.
I thought the height of rudeness was for Hillary and Bill to show up and pretend they're New Yorkers. Rude to use every forum to appear before their "subjects".
It was rude for her motorcade to run into a cop!
My favorite line was Hillary thanking those in the audience for coming. Who was she to thank them for coming? She wasn't even invited!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Still, total silence WOULD have been much more devastating.
Why it isn't:
"...[T]oo many people sit on their blessed assurances and don't speak the truth. They don't point the finger and say that emperor has no clothes. They don't call a political thug a political thug and don't call a liar a liar. And sadly, most of those wimps who won't speak the truth are in positions of political leadership. In that vacuum, double-speak works, hypocrisy is accepted, lying is tolerated, and politicians can say anything, no matter how outrageous, and get away with it. That flaw in our social character may just be the death of us yet." --Thomas L. Jipping
Wrong. I'll have you know that I am a World Class Traipser. I've Traipsed in many countries throughout the world. I even performed the near impossible Andorra Traipse. In addition, I hold an Olympic Gold Medal in Traipsing.
My goodness! It's rude to criticize people's manners.
Uh, that is what you're saying isn't it?
A fun thread!
