Should Conservatives Support Rudeness? Why booing Senator Clinton is beneath us.

First of all, to prevent the flamings, I should say that I am a strong conservative, and my number one issue is the life issue and so I am not at all a supporter of the Clintons etc.
That being said, I thought it the height of rudeness for these firemen and policemen to boo and yell at the Senator this weekend. It lacked dignity and class. I thought we conservatives were supposed to stand for such things, or perhaps this is just what we say, but do not practice.
I wonder what Burke et al would have said about this conservative embrace of very questionable manners.
The policemen and firemen should have just done nothing when she appeared on stage, no clapping, no booing, the silence would have expressed the same thing, but in a much more dignified way.

Sorry, but Hellary would have believed that silence showed reverence for her almighty self. What an arrogant hag to think that her appearance would be a delight to those assembled.

She's only supportive of W because the polls tell her that's the right thing to do!

On the other hand....
After reading everyone else's comments I am reminded of what my sister said, "she showed no mercy, she and Bill, in attacking everyone who got in there way when their personal and political goals warranted it..."
I just think of Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broaddrick, Linda Tripp, etc...(Paula "turned out to be a porno queen" Jones too) and it makes feel she is all too deserving of the booing....AND THEN SOME.

So a Conservative should:
Tolerate lies and deceit
Stand quietly and listen to a self-absorbed, self-appointed 'leader' lecture them on patriotism
Give attention and applause to a politician who injects (ie. imposes) herself on an event designed to raise money for victims.
Politely and graciously accept comments from this degenerate I am not that kind of Conservative. I am a "BAD American", and proud of it. (See numerous threads on Bad Americans).

I support booing, it beats the hell out of spitballs!!!!!!
To: watsonfellow
By the Left's logic it is unamerican not to boo her if you are expressing dissent. Burning a flag...now that's rude.

I don't get it? Why is it alright for nutty liberals to boo Kathryn Harris and it's not ok to boo hitlery?!
Ohhh I remember why now, liberals only believe in freedom of expression when it suits them.
Dissent is only welcome when it comes from them.
And popular speech takes precident over free speech.

Some people, by their character, demand that they be treated with dignity even in disagreement, others......

Booing her was polite.
To: watsonfellow
would you have preferred they gleefully clapped and cheered for her? Maybe... yes, maybe being totally silent would have been an effective alternative to the booing, but applause and cheering, no way!

She is the epitome of lack of dignity by her mere being. SHE lacked dignity by even showing her ugly mug in that auditorium. She EARNED those boo's.
To: watsonfellow
The firemen and policemen are adults who have the right to express the way they feel. It is inappropriate and condescending to censor and scold these heroes.

Rude? Who's being rude? That's how we New Yorkers always greet each other!:
Hey Hillary!

As I recall, at one of Clinton's State of the Union addresses during the impeachment crisis, Republican senators and congresspersons decided that they didn't want to look rude by booing, sitting on their hands, and the like, so they just didn't attend the speech.
That would have left a lot of empty seats, but Clinton and Daschle merely packed the Republican side of the house with Democrats, and as a result it appeared as if he was getting more cheers than ever before. Naturally the media liars said nothing about what was happening, but covered up for clinton.
These people have no shame. They don't play by the rules. Give them the smallest opportunity, and they will screw you.
If I had been at the concert, I would have booed with the best of them. These scum understand no language other than PUBLIC shaming that even the media are unable to cover up.

When I think about what Hillary's done (or had done) to anyone who's gotten in her way down the years, booing strikes me as an extraordinarily restrained response.
To: watsonfellow
BTW: If you held yourself to the same standard, your "look-at-me-I'm-a-watson-fellow" screen name is a huge breach of etiquette. (The strict etiquette you pretend to advocate requires extreme modesty and humility.)
Now, I like your screen name and don't think it is impolite. By true etiquette standards however, your actions are impolite.
BTW: public admonitions of others for their supposed breaches of etiquette are themselves breaches of etiquette.

Yeah, you're right. It makes me cringe to see anyone get publically humiliated, but, I know you're right. The Clinton's never cared about innocents when they possessed the power to crush. Their motives were selfish and political, so, I guess what goes around comes around.
I do not know WHAT she was thinking during that speech, but she was terribly rude.
To: watsonfellow
Sorry my dear Watson....She, and he have deserved that and more from the American public for 9 years. It tsted good and I loved it!!!
