Well, I'm not complaining about getting bumped off now. I hope INSTINK isn't on the list!

Melissa Estridge(sp?)'s mike just died on her. This is a good thing! It means (Hopefully) that they won't edit Hitlery's BOOS!!!

AGAIN! WE NEED SOMEONE TO RECORD THIS NOW!!!!!!

The full screen version comes in at a pretty decent quality... the audio quality is great at my end (using NS)

Thanks for the link! I watched it last night, but am loving it again this afternoon (minus the Backstreet Boys).

My favorite parts were: Hillary getting booed, The Fire chief who told Osama to kiss his Irish @ss, The Who, James Taylor, Billy Joel, and of course Paul McCartney singing his new song and "Let It Be".

Dang, it was all so good!

It's amazing how technology has moved on. Pretty soon we won't need the TV. We can watch football games/ concerts etc on the VDU.

Perhaps she will do a drunken duet with Whitney Houston.

I can’t believe no one here has cracked on Richard Gere. Understanding and compassion...excuse me, but not while we’re burying our dead.

Maybe when you get around to reply #1400 of this thread, you will see that Gere's new age pacificism was roundly booed.

I was just talking with someone about this show. He pointed out that who would have imagined this in the 1960s: the Who, members of the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, and a Beatle doing a show to pay tribute to and raise money for firefighters and policemen!

Yeah and it's a miracle some of them are still able to walk now, let alone sing!

The Who made a big thing out of being the working man's band so it was a cert they would have agreed to play. I was surprised there was no Springsteen, though he isn't quite as popular in NYC after that song about Diallo.

Daltrey's voice is starting to sound a little scratchy after three songs.

Some of the greatest moments ever on TV. I will never forget it. God bless everyone (minus two) in last night's Madison Square Garden. Heroic effort by Paul McCartney. He'll be on stage to receive his Emmy for this next year.

Shame there's no Keith Moon anymore. However, they still sound pretty damn good.
