So far the terrorists have been mostly using Canada for access. The Canadian/U.S. border is many times larger than the Mexico/U.S. border. It is hardly patrolled and the mileage of unpatrolled/unobserved border is staggering.

This might be a legitimate area/issue for the citizen militia. What do others think about this idea?

My opinion is that we have got to seal our borders. It is time that we take responsiblity to defend our nation, and if Congress continues to sleep we have to take action.

Of course there is a screaming crying need to "militarize" our borders, but our lily-livered fedgfov will not get the cojones to do so until after about five more 9-11 level events.

If we the citizens tried to assert our own natural right to defend our homeland as an "unorganized milita" (since the fedgov does not seem to want to), you would see the sky darkened with helicopters bringing in 100s of JBTs to crush the nascent "right wing militia gun nut racists".

This nation seems bent on national suicide.

No matter how many bombs we drop on Afghanistan, we will lose the war right here at home if the fedgov will not get a backbone and a survival instinct.

The following are excerpts from the "Journal" page of the website of the San Diego State University Muslim Student Association. Any misspellings, innappropriate caps, etc., appear as they do on their site, via cut and paste method. Bold for effect is mine for emphasis.

9/11/2001 11:21 AM Pacific TIme THE BORDER ISOpen.
The RUMORS ARE FALSE.
go to cnn.com to read more

THE BORDER Between Calexico & Mexicali is OPEN

"This is What New York used to look like. Those two towers on top right hand corner are now gone!

NEWs!
NEw York, Washington have been bombed. And presz bush's house in Maryland.

The news from the South West Border is that the US Mexican Port of Entry is Closed.
I'm going right now to videotape the event.
email me at zulma@chumitas.com

See the Journal page of Terrorist Website

My comments now: Bush's house! Is this what the plan was? When was this actually posted on her site? Sounds like maybe the Heroes of Flight 93 ruined the itinerary! This needs to be checked out.

This women is very preoccupied with Mexican border! The statements about the border are very cryptic, I think. Maybe the statements are some sort of coded message. With everything else going on, no I am not kidding about that.

I was thinking that if people could coordinate things with the farmers and landowners along the border, maybe individual citizens could volunteer a week at a time to go down there and patrol. I would think that in light of current events there would be enough of a response to scare the living daylights out of these illegal immigrants: a bunch of armed angry Americans patroling the border.

Why that,s our New World Order border!

"Border? What Border? It's the new world, friend. Y'all just c'mon over. Hey, we can fight a war and still let in our "friends" from the South (and everywhere else), and their friends, and their enemies, and anyone else.

It's about priorities. What's a little terrorism among friends? Gotta have that low income labor! Gotta' think like a CEO in this Brave New World. Time to go spend, spend, spend...

"Gotta have that low income labor!"

The Shareholders in Tyson would get Very Upset if their Labor Force were restricted.

Don't buy Tyson poultry products.

I do not claim to know how many more attrocities on American citizens it will take before we institute real border control. I remember when I jhad the boat in Canada and sought to clear American Customs on returning. They did not even want to have me check in at a Customs station. I could have had a nuke aboard and they did not even ask me to stop by. There used to be a canadian border station where when entering from Canada between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM the INS/Customs check consisted of a sign telling the person to make a phone call if they had anything to declare.

Clearly any citizen militia would be hunted down far more ruthlessly than the WTC/Pentagon/Flt 93 conspirators. It will not change as long as we listen to the Politically Correct crowd. When one is wedded to real estate the first thing one must do is establisgh a perimeter defence. We are not yet doing that and we will pay a major price with a whole lot more dead Americans.

Stay well - Stay safe - Stay armed - Yorktown

It might be worth it to build a great wall down there with machine gun nests every 300 yards or so........
