Personally, I realized that this World Wide Web thingamajig has other sites on it. Then I realized that I have legs. I then realized that there is a world outside.
Strange world that is. I'm not going back. </ sarcasm>

I discovered that I could actually think it was a terrorist plot to shut down my beloved place of drinking in information.
OK, I admit it. I am a news junkie.

Since you asked...
I found a truly fascinating website with a radio broadcast about an American warship called the USS Liberty. The Liberty was attacked by Isreal during the 6 day war (1968), and the whole thing was covered up at the HIGHEST LEVELS of government.
The guest on the broadcast is a crewmen from the liberty who explains why Johnson covered it up and why he ordered three separate Navy Admirals to turn-around there rescue flights while American Navy-men were dying in that attack!
Here's the link to the broadcast...

Your join up date is interesting.
To: Texaggie79
Just a shy, lurking girl. Thought you wouldn't notice me.
To: Island Girl
Well when I first saw it, my mind assumed it was This sep 11 since so many joined up after the attacks. But it was in 98. Just one of lifes little quirks.

I just checked my signup date - I had no idea! I'll have a hard time getting to sleep tonight.

Is there a cure?
I've found a good temporary cure is a severe verbal gang pile up when yer on the "wrong" side of an issue. That kinda thing usually weans me off for a day or two. "I just look at FR for the articles, I swear I don't post"...

Thank you. I hope others don't mind, now that I finally got up the courage to post. I wonder if I'd get special dispensation to change my signup date - it really is upsetting.

I discovered that your wives are all at MY house. Will you get them out of here--they keep yelling at me to get off the computer and tell them if I really think they look fat in their new slacks.

Welp -- I discovered that I needed to shave my legs. Then I discovered I had waited too long. I braided them.
