It seems more like your church teaches all the doctrine you believe and not the other way around

I will agree with this statement. It took some time for us to find a church that was run according to New Testement standards, but they are out there:)

The state cannot force anyone to deny their moral or religious beliefs.

Obviously you have never seen the state in action. Under American law, a belief that is contrary to public policy can be held only so long as it is not translated into action.

Let me give a better hypothetical example. Suppose Prohibition had somehow passed without an exemption for liturgical use. A priest in America, any Catholic, would have the right to "believe" that wine could be changed into Precious Blood during a Mass, but would be prohibited from actually having a Mass.

A brand new King James Bible.

Already got one. There seems to be some pages missing, though.

Yesterday I sent a post that told how in Jesus times if there was a sheep in the fold who continually strayed, the shepherd would break it's legs then carry it on his shoulders till it healed to teach it not to stray. When Jesus used the analogy of he is the shepherd and we are the sheep he is IMO telling us that he will do whatever it takes to keep us in the flock. After a sheep had it's legs broke it didn't stray again. Once we have become part of the flock Jesus will not let us stray, he will always care for us and keep us even if it means breaking our leg. Once saved always saved. Once a sheep always a sheep.

It is ok to disobey the law of the land if it goes against the Law or will of the Father. Take for example in Daniel when Shadrach, Meshach, and Obednigo (sp?) didn't bow down to the statue/idol of the king. This was clearly against the law, but a higher law (that of God) superceded it. We must act the same.

"Oh well, according to your interpretation, at any rate."

Heb 6:4-6
"For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame."

But the church has drawn its boundaries around cyberspace, too. At last year’s World Communications Day, the Vatican made clear that confessions will never be heard in chat rooms or via e-mail. Forgiveness of sins requires a personal encounter, indicated papal spokesperson Archbishop John P. Foley.

“The Internet offers an opportunity for dialogue, for response to questions, for interactive instruction and even for pastoral counseling,” Foley, president of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications, said June 5. “It does not offer the opportunity for online confession.”

Online mass is another matter, however. The church is still discerning its stance on virtual Sunday service attendance, which is obligatory in Roman Catholic tradition

More wishful thinking from the secular media. Sacraments require being personally there. You can't "phone it in." How is one to partake of the Communion while watching TV? Have it sent via FedEx?

That was the point. The Church must operate in a different sphere and must not be subject to civil gov't in Her internal affairs.

I'll bet they do it eventually. Can you think of a better way to increase the rolls.

Didn't read it all did you - just read for what you liked? Try reading a little further:

Romans 6:[12] Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. [13] Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. [14] For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. [15] What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. [16] Know ye not, that to whome ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

In other words, you may be saved; but, if you are serving Sin, you are dealing to yourself, death. As my mother used to say, "buy 'em books and buy 'em books and all they do is look at the pictures". If one cannot sin or if one's sin cannot hurt them, such a warning is not necessary. And there is no mistake here as in chapter 8 that he is talking to saved Christians. Getting saved is the first step. Being obedient in our walk is the rest of the road. If you get saved then serve the devil, you're out of your mind if you think you're going to heaven - having served the devil all your days after being saved. The Bible speaks to that too - And guess what, it doesn't say they were never saved in the first place, it says once saved and turned away.

I had walked into a Catholic Chapel on the Kent State campus (Newman Chapel, I believe)with some friends. As I stood at the end of the main aisle, up over the altar was a life-size, full color, detailed Crucifix. The sight of that was as if I was seeing the real thing, and it affected me so deeply that as I reached the front, I dropped to my knees and couldn't even speak.

NBF, since God apparently used a Catholic Church and crucifix to call you to him, are you now a Catholic? If not, why not?

No way. I'll take that bet. You know we Catholics need to get our Communion fix. You can't eat a piece of bread online. Never happen.

(None of this is to say that televised Masses aren't good for those who can't get to one otherwise. But they are no substitute for actually participating for real. Those who can't make it to Mass because of infirmities can get "Communion calls" where the Sacrament is brought to them.)

Would you please answer the question with your genious level IQ?? Can a sheep, ever cease to be a sheep?? We are not saying that a saved person who then commits all the sin he wants because he is "under the blood" is saved. We are saying that a saved (In God's eyes) person who sins does not lose his salvation. Do you see the difference???

Why not? If He can turn into a piece of bread He surely could inhabit bandwidth.

You've got the wrong KJV then. You need to go pick up a copy of the original KJV - it had the deuterocanonical books in it for over a hundred years.
You probably can't find it on Amazon.com though... mines in pretty bad shape.
