OK, folks....I have posted this on a couple of threads....but someone suggested I make a thread of it...here it is:

The anthrax scares of the past 10 days has prompted many to ask questions.

Why would they target with an anthrax delivery device that won't kill a lot of people?
Why are they targeting the media?
Is this related to 9/11?
What's with all the white powder?

Let me lay out the theory:

The media is a target for a very specific reason. This prevents the government from covering up the details. This is why they went after the sensationalist media and why they went after a major broadcast network. The delivery system is designed not to maximize death, but to make us "anthrax aware"

Reportedly, the anthrax was mailed in a white powder. Along with the actual cases, we are finding cases of white powder mailings with no anthrax. Many have speculated that the white powder is done by sick pranksters. I think this is an impossibility. Let me explain...

We learned about the white powder on Monday evening (via Newsweek). Tuesday, we saw several packages and envelopes with white powder show up. It is nearly impossible for a prankster to gather themselves quickly enough to do it. There is a plan in action:

Part A:) mail out packages with anthrax contained in a white powder.
Part B:) mail out packages without anthrax, but with the white powder.

What does this do?

CDC has to investigate each of these powder instances. This will strecth thier resources. If enough actual anthrax envelopes are sent out, the US mail will be severly slowed or stop al together. This will have a massive effect on our psyche, our economy and our Law Enforcement community.

What they will do is play the Anthrax Russian Roulette with these packages until the fed decides to start issuing massive amounts of antibiotics to the populace...therfore reducing our supply.

Now, with antibiotics increasingly rare and the CDC and other departments stretched to thier limit...the terrorists are free to strike a full scale bio-attack and us unable to treat those infected.

In my beloved Texas the penalty for planting a hoax bomb (fake bomb) is the same as for planting a real one.

I propose that the penalty for mailing hoax bioagents or poisons or chemical weapons maliciously be the same as for mailing the real thing.

I further propose that the penalty for mailing bioagents or poisons or chemical weapons shall be death.

Maybe it's just a subtle difference for some people, but I don't believe they wanted to "keep him in power" -- rather, "didn't want to go after him." I think 41 would have loved to get rid of Hussein a decade ago. There was no support for such a move, and we would have been utterly vilified worldwide. Furthermore, didn't Kuwait ask us to help them? After that 'mission' was over, we were done. People love to talk right now about the sorry, ridiculous "interventionist" policies of the USA. Going after Hussein in 1991 would have been just that: sorry, ridiculous, and interventionist.

First things first.....considering that a lot of bill companies could lose all or some of thier receiveables (even if they know they will get them eventually) for a short time could cripple some companies...I dont think permanent damage...but crippling nonetheless.

Secodly, CDC has been examining Postal workers and the FBI had closed down a post office in Crown Point, IN due to a strange white substance there.

Interesting theory, and I wouldn't be suprised if the culprit(s) have mailed out both anthrax laced and non-anthrax hoax letters- as you have indicated, this magnifies their hoped for effect. But even if they have done this, it just isn't gonna work out the way you indicate. This will be dealt with in a professional fashion, without the hoped for hysteria. Why? Look at the effects of the anthrax letters thus far- one death in the beginning before we caught on to this. FYI, anthrax hoax letters have been quite common for years, and typically contain talcum or other benign powders.

some white powder packages showed up at 2 families houses 3 weeks ago. These folks reportedly got ill, but they found the powder to be nothing. I am thinking that it was a mixup in a cell about when to send out dummy packages...those packages were probably suppossed to go out after the AMI scare.

I remember that, but here's the question: if they were dummy powder packages accidentally sent out too early, then why did the people get ill?

Could there be some other agent of some kind in/with the white powder? That's what I've been wondering; maybe the occasional "anthrax" is just a smokescreen to throw us off the scent...because it's the powder that is the real weapon.

I was just having a conversation on the phone with another Freeper and we were discussing how similar this was to Ted Kazinsky's mail bombings as the "Uni-bomber!" I was trying to remember which EarthFirst! creeple people person that said (paraphrased) What the Earth needs is a deadly virus to cure the population bomb and give wildlife a chance.

I'm convinced at this point that these current scares are our own creeps who think they can pull these stunts off while everybody is looking for M.E. terrorists.

I'm much more suspicious of ELF than I am of OBL, for the time being. He may be using "sleepers," but we've had eco-terrorist "sleepers" like Kazinsky killing Americans for years!!!

I will never forget how he killed a friend of mine in Sacto!!!

I've thought from the first that this "anthrax terror" looked less like terrorists and more like a crank, crackpot, or malicious individual running a parallel operation & taking advantage of the timing. FWIW!

What means of delivery would the terrorists have left in order to attack us biologically in a way that would a create massive epidemic?

Also...considering the shakedown that has gotten some 600 arabs hemmed up in US custody...who would they have remaining to deliver such a massive quantity needed to create a massive epidemic?

An earlier post said that the terrorists tried and failed to get a more efficient means of delivery.

A month ago when it was revealed that M. Atta tried to the point of desparation of obtaining a crop duster
tipped me off to the fact that he had something locally (Florida) that he wanted to distrubute.
The orders came to execute for Sept. 11 and he knew he wasn't ready for the Anthrax execution phase.
He went to an improvised Plan B having his remaining cells in Florida execute mailings to media outlets.
It was hit or miss but followed the principal of "use it or lose it".
