I do hope and pray that Israel will finally realize that billions in US support and the enormous sacrifice the US military are about to make, make it incumbent on them to compromise.

How is it that you compromise with someone who only wants your total destruction?
By committing partial suicide?

Oh thank gosh for the clarity of the Guardian.
The State of Israel has a Motto. Never Again. Learn it and understand that Israeli's will go Nuclear literally rather than have another holocaust.
The march to the chambers last time, never again.
BTW, can you tell me why an egyptian is in charge of the PLO.

This is Bush's biggest mistake. If this story is not a bunch of propaganda, then it will be the downfall of America. God will not stand for it and the Israelis are God's people.
I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you. Genesis 12:3

Mr Bush, whose patience with the Israeli prime minister, Ariel Sharon, has finally snapped, is drawing up a detailed plan to be published in the next few weeks in the hope of finally resolving 53 years of conflict. Probably more like an abomination of desolation.

FYI. I know you have been praying for a while but I believe President Bush is in dire need of prayer right now. (If this story is true) If he makes this mistake by forcing Israel to the negotiating table I can tell that it won't be long for America to cease to exist.

If the USA turns its back on Israel it is doomed. I know President Bush reads his Bible and knows what God says about his chosen people and about what happens to nations who bless Israel.... and what happens to those who curse Israel.

It is based on proposals on the table when the Israelis and Palestinians met in January at Taba in Egypt, the closest they have ever come to agreement. It envisages Jerusalem as the shared capital of Jewish and Palestinian states. One has to wonder why Arafat would accept now what he rejected earlier, assuming the January proposal did propose a joint city, and Barak accepted it? Did he Monkeyshine?. I believe the offer prior to January put the Arab part of Jerusalem in the proposed Palestinian state, but I could be wrong.

This is Bush's biggest mistake. Well, now! I suppose one must accept progress where ever one finds it. I am encouraged at least that you did not call Bush/Powell anti-Semitic. . . .
The Mitchell Process will go foreward.

Mr Bush, whose patience with the Israeli prime minister, Ariel Sharon, has finally snapped, is drawing up a detailed plan to be published in the next few weeks in the hope of finally resolving 53 years of conflict. He stated in his speech tonight that he would like to see a Palestinian State. But ONLY if that State would recognize AND respect the State of Isreal. As this will never happen I don't see how this article is much more than propaganda. Arafat had his chance...several times, in fact. They don't want a State only, they want Isreal to disappear.

Israelis are God's people.OK, let God take care of them then. It's time to tell Israel and the Palestinians to come to terms or we (and our money) are out of there.

The Bible tells us that the whole world will turn on Israel during the end times. Satan wants to destroy Israel to show that God does not keep his promises....Hey Satan! GOD KEEPS HIS PROMISES!!!

We are all God's children. But those who accepts the Lord Jesus as the Son of God are the apple of God the Father's eye! We can only come into the Father,if we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. When the Jewish people do that, then they will be saved and we know then that we are in the last times.

Bush is real friend of Israel. According to the BIBLE if you Bless Israel, you will be Blessed, You curse Israel you will be cursed. If you sing " GOD Bless America" and you don't Bless Israel, GOD will not bless you, according to the Christian BIBLE and guess what, President Bush knows that too. He has read the BIBLE all the way through twice and he believes it too!

Mr Bush, whose patience with the Israeli prime minister, Ariel Sharon, has finally snapped...Bollocks. It doesn't pass the sniff test.
I could believe President Bush is disappointed with Sharon's 'don't repeat 1938' speech, but snapped? Nope.

The ideas, which were to be announced in a speech by the US secretary of state, Colin Powell, that was postponed because of the September 11 attack, are expected be revealed formally later this month.... Mr Sharon will visit Washington next month to press his case, Israel Radio reported yesterday. He is known to be angry that Mr Powell consulted Saudi Arabia and Egypt but not Israel when he drafted his speech.

Every individual in the world is saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. What happens to a nation depends on how that nation deals with Israel. The gift of salvation is free to everyone. Don't mix a nations life with an individuals life.
