Mr Bush, whose patience with the Israeli prime minister, Ariel Sharon, has finally snapped, is drawing up a detailed plan to be published in the next few weeks in the hope of finally resolving 53 years of conflict.

He stated in his speech tonight that he would like to see a Palestinian State. But ONLY if that State would recognize AND respect the State of Isreal. As this will never happen I don't see how this article is much more than propaganda. Arafat had his chance...several times, in fact. They don't want a State only, they want Isreal to disappear.

Suzanne Goldenberg is known to be anti-Israel Leftwingnut. Her stuff is pure propaganda. Yeah Bush is so hacked at Sharon he is meeting with him in a few weeks (3rd time) but brushed off the idea of meeting with Arafat (again) last night.
