Another doc says it's like "arthritis of the inner ear." Good thing he has many doctors

Where else can this be heard/seen live?

Doc says, "We are in a new era of new drugs to treat autoimmune diseases."
WJR has stopped coverage at this time.
They are supposed to cover what technology Rush is using to enable him to continue hosting his radio show.
Freepers who have access to the continuing press conference, please continue posting information!

Wish I knew, Inspector. No reference to it on Rush Limbaugh's website.

Can anyone help out the listening-impaired in our cube farms? Only to suggest you become self employed or get a real job....no offense, but you're being caged, think about it.

Did you think it was weird that this news was in all the newspapers and newscasts throughout the nation. Go back on explosion watch!

Our radio station is going to be covering the President's remarks at the Pentagon Memorial, so we won't hear it in Phoenix. Maybe someone will replay it later.

The doctors just basically said they have hope that the condition will reverse with treatment he's getting with the latest in drugs aimed at the immune response and arthritic-type anti-inflammatory drugs. If not with drugs, then he might be helped by a cochlear (sic?) implant.

am I the only who thinks it wierd that they are holding a press conference? Why not? Rush is just as important as Bob Hope.

When the time is right, I will make the move.
If I had a real job, I'd have to really work.
Right now, I'd rather spend time with my son and educating myself.

"No, you are not the only one thinking it strange and perhaps a bit presumptive. I know Rush Limbaugh is listened to by millions but let's have a little perspective. We are a nation at war. Rush Limbaugh's medical condition is hardly our top concern at this moment (though personally, I hope he is okay)." actually, everytime liz taylor goes in for a skin graft off her "big white ass", for michael jackson's face; they have a "press conference"...

Francisandbeans: am I the only who thinks it wierd that they are holding a press conference? Great Dane: Not really, Rush is a big name, hearing and speaking is his bread and butter.
Not to mention that the press is probably hoping the doctors will tell them that Rush is forced to retire. He regularly embarrasses them with their inability to report facts. If the press really wanted Rush to go away, they could just do their jobs. Then Rush would be redundant, although I would still enjoy his presentation.
Shalom.

I think lewislynn's comment is a reference to the concept which was last seen in The Matrix.
I started it by making reference to my office space as being part of a cube farm.
No offense taken.

Am I the only who thinks it wierd that they are holding a press conference? Not unusual for celebs or important figures with medical problems.

but it is not of national importance
Is someone knocking on your door and making you pay attention to this issue? Are you being held by militant Muslims that have forced you to watch the news conference on Limbaugh? Or listen to it on radio? Or read about it here?
OFF SWITCH - ON SWITCH. Pick one.....
