Please tell the doc to wait under the Pentagon Memorial service is over. It's the one month anniversary of WAR.

am I the only who thinks it wierd that they are holding a press conference? It's not really that weird. They're probably being bombarded by reporters, and want to lay it out all at once. It seems to happen whenever some famous person has a high-profile malady.

No, you are not the only one thinking it strange and perhaps a bit presumptive. I know Rush Limbaugh is listened to by millions but let's have a little perspective. We are a nation at war. Rush Limbaugh's medical condition is hardly our top concern at this moment (though personally, I hope he is okay).

Looks like its bad timing for the press conference. Nothing on our Limbaugh affiliate yet. And TV is carrying the Pentagon Memorial.

Seems a press release would suffice. It is not like he is on his deathbed. Personally, I think the attention being paid to his earache is insulting to the 6000 DEAD people and their families. This is not national news, it is his personal medical issue - which he can share, but it is not of national importance.

A bit weird, yes. Certainly it's bad timing to do it today (the "anniversary"). It could be they are just getting inundated with reporters calling for information and want to get everything out on the table. I doubt Rush prodded them to hold this, but it could be that they (the doctors) told Rush they wanted to do it just to get people off their backs. (pure speculation, of course)

No, you are not the only one thinking it strange and perhaps a bit presumptive. I know Rush Limbaugh is listened to by millions but let's have a little perspective I don't know, I think it makes good sense to call a press conference. They were probably going nuts fielding phone calls from the press and from fans. What better way to take care of it?

You are not required to tune in.

Thanks, Energizer. I am interested in knowing what they say.

am I the only who thinks it wierd that they are holding a press conference? Not really, Rush is a big name, hearing and speaking is his bread and butter.

Doc confirmed it's an autoimmune disorder.
Treating with medicines at this time, there's a chance hearing will come back. A cochlear implant may be necessary. Another doc says it's like "arthritis of the inner ear."

Clinics advertize. They have a very famous patient whom many are intrested in, great way to advertize. I don't have a problem with it. I'm glad to know the name of the clinic in case I ever need them.
