I bet all the vile people who have been bitching incessantly about his "voice change", or how many vacation days he's been taking recently feel pretty good about themselves right about now.
God Bless Rush, I'll pray for you sir.

I don't think people were "bitching" about his voice change, as much as wondering why his voice was changing.

How about all the NON-vile people who have been CONCERNED about his "voice change," not convinced by his claims that it wasn't there, and who have been fans for over eleven years and counting? How would you guess WE feel?

He said he was taking vacations, and he hid the fact that he was seeing doctors. He lied. Whatever his motive -- pride, independence, whatever -- he apparently held that value above the bond of trust with his audience. He lied.
And all those people who insisted that Rush sounded 'just fine' are now proven to be victims of wishful thinking and self-delusion.
I didn't make Rush deaf. My only crime is that I stopped listening to him. I hope that they find a cure. With all his money, perhaps he could fund research.

Ok, Ok, I will take myself out to the woodshed as soon as I'm done here. When I complained about Rush's voice and/or many "vacation" days I was more worried about his losing his show then the voice/vacation thing. I thought if there was something going on he should just come forward and say so. People out here in Freeper land would be very understanding only if they knew what it was--he did not have to go into detail, just a few words about what was going on. Too many of us were concerned, then annoyed. Bless you Rush, and I wish you all the best.

Rush Limbaugh, overall, is a good man, and a great American. My family will pray for him.

Our concern was that he was sick because his voice had changed so drastically. We had no way of knowing, you jerk!
