He had been hinting for several months that he had some sort of health problem.
You can send him a note here:

I'm no fan of theirs, but this should be a cautionary tale for us on this side of the fence not to sink the the level of the leftists. Amen to that. I would give an arm and a leg to see Hillary and Bill on their knees repenting and turning into basically good people, instead of reaping the bitter harvest of the evil that they have sown.

Mike Savage made Rush obsolete years ago anyway.Huh?
Never heard of him.

I am so saddened for him but his voice sounded just fine to me today. I think other people are having trouble with their own hearing.

I prefer..."I fart in your general direction" And now, for something completely different...

Ok, I had a breast reduction - didn't want guys I know
You didn't have to worry. Its not a proceedure a man has any appreciation or understanding for -at all. :)

I don't respect hawks that dodged the draft Some people grow up. How old was he, how mature was he, was he straight thinking then?
I prefer to look at a person's character arc to decide how much to respect them.
To: SlickWillard; and all
I don't care what Rush sounds like. (and he sounds
fine to me) I care about Rush and Rush will always be Rush!
God bless you Rush. No matter what, you are the man.
To: krodriguesdc
Doesn't Rush have some kind of kidney problem too, would that cause him pain in which case he might be on Vicodin periodically?
To: 11th Earl of Mar
I checked your source. No facts there to back you up. How about some more info?
How about the words right out of Rush's mouth?

I cannot see the man continuing in his dutiesHow can you say that Laz? He took calls today and did just fine. With all the technology today he will do just fine. He will probably end up learning to lip read and/or sign even. I think that would be great. Perhaps the medication will work. Let's hope so.

I'm very worried about him.Don't worry about Rush he has everything in proper perspective.
I understand how he feels. I have a chronic disease and was devastated when I was diagnoised but the doctor let me know that I can function just fine and that other people are a lot worse off than me. He said you can be thankful you don't have cancer etc. And I am thankful and I do function just fine and so will Rush.
I will be waiting for Rush everyday 9A to 12P.
To: blackbart1
I could be wrong but I think it would be possible for Rush to set up some sort of close captioning device that would allow him to take calls and read what the caller said to him off of a teleprompter and reply.
At least I hope so, we can't afford to lose Rush.

His voice was markedly different today. Many times when I am listening i'm doing other things and today I had to stop and make sure it was him.

You have an extraordinarily good point.
To: Lazamataz
I'd rather listen to an odd voiced Rush, than a clear as a bell Cuomo Oddly, it seems to me that his voice is much more Dulcette toned today than it was last time he was on-air. You can really hear the difference on his commercials cut prior to today. He may have been rehearsing to come to a point where he can "do" himself well. I wish him a full recovery, but beyond that, a career as long as he wishes it.
