He had been hinting for several months that he had some sort of health problem.

Two tips, big guy:
1) Stop SHOUTING.
2) Understand that commas are not interchangeable with apostrophes.

Big Chas (or is that Small Johnson?), I get so tired of hearing that "Mind-numbed Robots" crap. You wanna see some robots? Go visit Democrapic Underground. Now
there's a bunch unable to think for themselves, so they substitute "group-feel".
Just so you understand; so there's no mistake; so you don't have keep spouting that "robot" garbage and looking like an idiot:
I do not listen to Rush Limbaugh because I agree with him. I listen to Rush because he agrees with me!

Rush said that people have been complaining about his voice so much that his engineers have had to electronically alter his voice today, raising the pitch.Sorry to hear that. I was never complaining about his voice. I was just curious as to why it sounded different. I don't feel bad for inquiring. And I couldn't care less about making it sound like the original Rush. Rush's thoughts are what matter ... not his voice.

I admire and respect you, Rush, and will be sending prayers your way. I sincerely hope that you will be able to continue at the EIB Golden Microphone because the country, and your many fans, still need your calm manner and focused analysis of events and the history surrounding them. FReep On, Rush!

I think you belong on the Skolnick web page, don't you?

After listening to Savage for a few months I realized I had to put up with 20 minutes of hysterical, self-promoting, police-statist BS for every minute of genuinely thoughtful and/or humorous material. Life is too short for that.
I don't hear Rush much these days either (occupationally impaired), but God bless him and may He keep Rush's voice on the airwaves for our nation's sake, if such be His will.

May God Bless You, Rush.

I have been deaf in my left ear since childhood. I have learned to compensate a lot by reading lips, and my hearing is a little above normal in my right ear. The main problem I have is telling from which direction a sound is coming, and crowds drive me nuts. OTOH, when I go to bed at night and put my good ear to the pillow, I sleep like a baby.
I wish Rush the best.

Some might say that proper/accurate discernment isn't one of your fortes.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this. My prayers are with him--I hope the doctors can do something.

I shudder to think where we would be today without El Rushbo.

I had this happen to me about 20 years ago. Went to bed one night my hearing was fine, got up the next morning no hearing in my left ear. Dr. called it sudden hearing loss. No known reason for sudden hearing loss and no known cure. You finally learn to live with it. I also have trouble with noise, no sound direction,if something goes "bump" in the night I have no idea where to look for the "bump". (lol) I never knew everyone spoke so softly and slurred their words until I lost my hearing. :)

Rush has just announced that they are putting the announcement on the website at
RushLimbaugh.Com. That's great for those (like me) that didn't happen to be listening when Rush made the announcement.
