Hi Pixar: I noticed that you officially joined us yesterday. In the spirit of kindness, I would like to share with you a few thoughts that some of us may have learned the hard way. It is sometimes easier to learn from other's mistakes.

We are a family here. Like most families, we don't necessarily agree with one another all the time. However, we try to be kind and respectful while expressing our point of view. Please don't be rude and tell our dear Howlin, or anyone else, to kiss someone's behind. That is just plain bad manners. Mr. Robinson has put together some guidelines for us to follow. They include "no profanity, no personal attacks, and no racism." If you follow these suggestions, your experience on FR will be greatly enhanced.

These suggestions were meant to be given in the spirit of kindness. I hope that they are received in the same spirit. Take care and God Bless. Enough_Deceit

How odd that a new disruptor would think that "Clintonesque" is a bad thing. Since you don't defend your posts' assertions (not that they are much more than insults now), I can only guess as to why you would worry about President Bush seeming to use children to elicit emotional responses (Clintonesque). I think he used an actual letter to demonstrate the American spirit and support for the difficult actions that must take place. Clinton would have just found the girl, used her as a PR photo shoot, and called it a day... and probably would've hit on her mom, since Daddy's away fighting for his country.

President Bush did not mention OBL by name, which seems to indicate that the linkage between the Taliban government and OBL has been made "official". Does anyone think this is as significant as I do?
