I was really trying to think of what I thought was "eye candy" and I was having a hard time....
To: wayne_shrugged
Are you always this cranky?
To: vikingchick
How come there's no eye candy for the girls on this thread....David Cassidy perhaps?"Something like this?
To: CheneyChick
Well, Bill Clinton was a fox.
BWAHAHAHA! Sorry.

Bless you, and my pals Spinner and Paddlefoot thank you, as does my psychiatrist. Oh that's right... Spinner and Paddlefoot! LOL. It's all coming back to me now...!
Never posted an image on FR before, hope this comes out:
Good ol' Cambria Studios (sp?). Also did something called Space Angel and one or two other ones where human mouths were superimposed over either stationary, or limited movement, cartoon characters. I'm not sure, but was Speed Racer one of these from Cambria? How about Roger Ramjet?
Oh, Hey, any vintage Chicagoans here remember Chuck Bill's Adventure Theatre (on Sat Mornings) with Capt. Stubby and the Buccaneers? Just wondering ...
To: vikingchick
How could you? Now I'm gonna have nightmares.

I am in the rarest of all, the Blank (those born in either 1965 or 1966). The boomers are born between 1945 and 1964 ( the 20 years after WWII) and Gen Xers are born from 1967 to 1986 (the 20 years starting with the Summer of Love in 1967). We do not partake of either generation and will gladly go down in history as born at the perfect time (strictly my opining) for the 50 years of 1950 to 2000. We got to vote for Reagan as 18 year olds in our first election. and also made it by months of drinking legally at 18 in most states. We got to come of age (the 5 years of 18 to 23) right at the last half of the 1980's ( when there was the perfect confluence of new tech, but low surveilance based on that tech). We were already moving towards adult tendencies when the Gen X slacker mentality hit in 1990, yet we also maintain ties with the tail draggers (very end o' the boomers born from 1960 to 1964)who give credibilty to us of having firsthand knowledge of the last pre-tech teenage way of life.

Whoa. The Partride Family 2200AD. That's like a bad acid trip man, not that I've ever had one. Or any acid trip, for that matter. :)

Give the man a cigar!

Dishonest John, & Beanie and Cecil with the Captain (forget his name).
To: laconas
My sister in law picked up an absolutely mint condition Munsters lunchbox, vintage '65 and no thermos for a buck at a garage sale a few years ago.
She sold it on e-Bay for $395.

"How come there's no eye candy for the girls on this thread....David Cassidy perhaps?OK, OK....

I never have that kind of (Munster lunchbox) good luck.
Whenever I buy an old book or something I think will fetch a handsome price, it turns out to be worth just about what I paid for it: 50 cents.
