Or you can call Ari Fleisher's office. A photo op of President Bush personally opening the headgates at Klamath would do more to consolidate the conservative base than pictures of T-ball on the White House lawn. Or you can just talk to the person answering the phone. There is also a White House comments line.

Above all, be polite.

You can also call your Senators or Congressman and support the Klamath farmers.

Don't forget beloved FReeper BKO -- Barbara Olson! She was a hero, and risked having her throat cut on flight 77 (that eventually plunged into the Pentagon) by grabbing her mobile phone and calling her husband, Ted, Solicitor General of the U.S. Her only concern was for her fellow passengers and the other innocent victims on the ground. She was determined to let us all have advance warning of what was happening.

God bless Barbara, Ted, and their entire family! The world is a much poorer place without Barbara in it. (But God, Himself, gained one gem of a shining star in her!)
