Did you hear the bugler’s call,
so faint, and so far away?
Did you hear it? Did you listen?
I just heard it, heard just yesterday.

I heard it in the horizon,
just below the line of sight.
I heard it in the stilled darkness,
of a moonlit autumn night.

It called an old, rugged warrior,
called him to his last post.
Defending the gates of Heaven,
commanded by the Holy Ghost.

He’s our friend, and he stands ready,
today, still, as he has every single time.
Anytime his country needed him,
needed him to hold the line.

So tell me, did you hear the bugler’s call?
Did you hear it call our friend?
Don’t be sad, and always remember him,
A Marine, an American, and a Patriot to the end.

Truly beautiful, Luis. He'll be greatly and sorely missed by all who knew him - even if only by his posts which were, after all, just words ... but they certainly reflected the man!!!

I have just recently been able to read all the beautiful tributes to my Chief. This week we have uncovered evidence that the crazy neighbor I have suspected from the beginning has, in fact, beaten and doused another man in gasoline, and the witness to this is talking with arson investigators as we speak. What I have found here on FR are a few remarks suggesting I might be involved. I can tell you right now that Chief knows the truth and he'd kick anybody's ass for even entertaining the thought. He and I were very much in love in a way few people are. On top of the unbelievable pain I'm in, to have anyone suggest that I had any involvement, is more than I can bare. To the huge per cent of you that support me, I will always be in debt for your kindness. Support me, or shut the **** up. You have no idea the pain that I am forced to endure.
