I see the entire middle east as a threat, not just Arabs or Israeli's. Where do the hostilities originate? Arafat and Palestine trained all terror groups, then it spread to other Arab countries that would allow their camps and support them with arms. No one country is better than the other, just because of religion. It is a lie that many consume and regurgitate, but goes no where. Nuclear strikes to all hostile countries is the only way to ensure peace. I couldn't give a rat's a$$ about their religion, as they are all hypocrites.

I dont agree that we share common beliefs. Israel is a racist counrty that considers itself above all peoples and nations. It has an over developed sense of entitlement and BELIEVES that world owes it everything.

I have total faith in Bush, Cheney & Rice. Powell makes me a tad nervous but...

I completely believe that Bush is committed to Israel. He cannot participate in rhetoric, at this time, that overly demonstrates that committment or the wacky Arab dictators will organize against us in this war on terrorism.

Like others have said, watch what they DO, not what they SAY. That goes for Sharon too. He MUST be tough on the terrorism in his own country.

My guess is they are covertly coordinating this whole exchange. Tension between us and Israel will give the Arabs comfort.

May God bless all free nations.

"I dont agree that we share common beliefs."

None? Are you sure about that?

Democracy and capitalism spring to mind.

"Yes, instead we should stand with that holy coalition of terrorist Islamic States. Like Syria for example. The same Syria which the U.S. is now backing to be part of the Security Council. The same Syria which is occupying Lebanon; helping in the extinguishing of the Christian presence there; and allowing its proxy terrorists the Hezbullah to perpetrate terrorism against Israel and Western interests. And that wonderful paragon of virtue Iran. Also sponsoring and funding the Hezbullah and other terrorist organizations. I should go on. Like Sudan. A new "partner" against terrorism. The same Sudan which is slaughtering and enslaving Christians. I'll stop there. The hypocrisy is really too much to take in one dose. "

You forgot to mention how Israel persecutes Palestinian Christians. Arafat's wife is a Catholic Palestinian.

"The US is the brunt of all Arab hatred SIMPLY because we support Israel"

They hate us because of how we dominate the world and force our values and conditions on them.

What do you think our reaction would be if Russia tried to do the same things we have routinely done in Kosovo, Croatia, and the Persian Gulf, in Gulf of Mexico or Florida?

and President Bush has articulated a desire to see and support a Palestinian state.

Amazing. The learned Islamic professor below believes a "Palestinian" State is a big mistake. I guess W and his administration are buckling under the fist (oil) of the pan Arab Islamic fascists like Arafat and the rest of the Arab League:

ISLAM AND NORMALIZATION OF RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN ISLAMIC STATES AND THE JEWISH STATE

PLO documents can in no way be regarded as Islamic. The PLO leaders are a gang of criminals and thieves, and
Arabs will be the main victims of any supposed "Palestinian State" under their leadership.

I do not believe that Islam is the factor preventing normalization between Arabs and the State of Israel. The real
problem is that members of the ruling classes in Arab countries believe their authority and power would be
threatned by democracy, modernization, and education in the Arab world. They use a distorted interpretation of
Islam as a political tool, and unfortunately the majority of uneducated Arabs believe their poisonous propaganda.

I believe that we must return to the time when Islam was in the vanguard of scientific progress and interfaith
dialogue. Instead of false "leaders" such as Qadhafi, Saddam Hussein, Arafat [el-Husseini] or Yasin, we Muslims
again need true leaders such as al-Ghazali, Ibn Rushd and Ibn Khaldum.

     King Faysal of Iraq said:

"The Arabs, and particularly the educated ones among them, must look at the Zionist movement with
          the deepest sympathy."

Tragically, true leaders such as Faysal were silenced, and fanatics such as Haj Amin al-Husseini prevailed.

The evil consequences of the victory of fanaticism are clear for all to see: Jews expelled from Arab countries
where the lived in peace for over one thousand years, "Palestinian" refugees, terrorism, etc. To avoid future
mistakes, we must learn from our past ones.

Unfortunately, there are Arabs who believe that they must fight against Israel until they completely destroy it (a
tragedy which I do not believe the God of Israel will ever permit to happen - Never again!).

Unfortunately, there are also naive and foolish Israelis who believe, incredibly to me, that they will achieve "peace" with their Arab neighbours by giving the murderer "Arafat" [el-Husseini] a State, an army, etc. This is insane. You Jews are supposedly famous for your intelligence. How can some of your "leaders" be so stupid?

I have sp[ent a great deal of time in Israel. It is neither a democracy or a capitalistic country. It is a socialist country and is a theocracy. Observer the political status of the 15% of the population that is not Jewish or the status of foreign investment.

Am I wrong to conclude that the Muslim world does not wish to peacefully coexist with any other religion or culture?

Is the end goal a Muslim world?

If this is the case, there will be no peaceful solution. Set me straight.

"Arafat's wife is a Catholic Palestinian."

Wrong. She converted to Islam immediately after marrying him.

Miscegenation doesn't play too well in the Arab street, you know.

President Bush also needs to hear that there are a lot of his supporters that are starting to get sick and tired of waiting for a military response to the Sept 11 attacks. Food caravans and hugging Arab-americans looks more like something I would expect from Hillary Clinton than George Bush.

I wear unwashed lederhosen around the house and smear bleu cheese salad dressing on my naked body in honor of Ann Coulter and her lovely legs. Liberals should be deported.
Do you really do that?

Islam is a cult that can not rest until it has no rivals. In the absence of external rivals it turns on itself. It needs the "fight" to control its followers.

Israel is a European style social democracy.

Not my cup of tea, mind you, but a hell of a lot closer to the US model than the thugocracies that surround her.
