There are many things on our minds and in our prayers right now. Please also remember the Shelter Now - Germany aid workers on trial in Afghanistan right now.

I woke up just now with the aid workers on my mind. I was praying that they are well, in good health, safety, and spirits.

I prayed that good would come from their imprisonment -- that they would be able to touch hardened people that would not otherwise see God’s love in action or be reached by the Gospel. And I realized -- more clearly than I had before now -- this was like Paul and other Christians through the years taking advantage of every opportunity, even (or perhaps especially while under great duress, to speak of their love for Jesus.

This is the situation facing Dayna Curry, Heather Mercer, Diane Thomas (Australia), and the others (could not quickly find names of the others, please supply if you are able).

We are remembering you, Dayna, Heather, Diane, and others in conditions hard to imagine, and we are lifting you up in prayer.

" May they find strength, resolve and peace." -- as I've seen brief news clips of Dayna and Heather, it seems that prayer was answered as well. Wow! I wish them all well in the challenging days ahead. Thank you all for your prayers -- what an awesome "yes" we have seen here!

How wonderful to see our prayers and petitions answered, so completely, beyond human belief. Every time I've seen news clips of Dayna and Heather smiling and waving I smile back at them, overjoyed at this outcome for all the prisoners. Thank God for these answers.

I do! And now I will all over again, and again. This was an incredible answer, and our entire nation rejoices! Thank you Father in Heaven, we sure love You!!!

I don't think anyone knows. I hope they were left in jail in Kabul and will now be released as innocent under the new 'government.' I hope that the rescued 8 will be able to say something about them soon. I wish that the news media would think to ask. They still need prayers.

There is a brief mention of this on the press release on the Antioch Church site given in my post #38 above. I will post the entire release in a few minutes.

Praise Jesus cyn! He heard our prayers and others all over the country and freed his saints!! I am so happy all the workers came home safe, God is so good to us!
