She's worse than delusional, she's like an ambulance chasing lawyer rushing to an accident to see how much she can profit from it.

I really personally question this poll and interpretation that Hillary is BENEFITING from this among her contituents. (But, I mean, why would media or academia falsify a poll and spin a story just to benefit Hillary? .....JUS KIDDING....)
I got the definite idea that her body language during President Bush's unifying address to congress left people cold. I got the feeling that her carpetbagger credentials were never more obvious than when she was trying to feign concern among a group of neighbors in a city that had been devastated as only a few cities in history have.
(Gawd she is such a phony.)

Pardek, I'm going to assume you're being sarcastic with that last post of yours. NO WAY can you possibly believe there were black churches that burned in Arkansas in the 1950's because that was researched immediately after it left the lips of Hitlery's hubby and despite Slick's so-called "memory" of such burnings, THEY NEVER HAPPENED! It was more fabrication of things that never were in order to tell Blacks how he "felt their pain" when he never felt thing one!
Lest anyone think Slick is the only talespinner (translation: LIAR) between the two, recall how Hitlery once told a crowd how her parents named her after Mt Everest climber Sir Edmund Hillary...One small problem occurred upon checking up on this claim, however...Hitlery was born in the late 1940's & Sir Edmund did not become world famous for scaling the great mountain until the early 1950's.
I suppose it's POSSIBLE her parents held off naming her for two or three years until a suitable celebrity could surface worthy of their little girl...
NAAAAAAAAAAAAA, she's just a LIAR.

My take is that she's not undergoing a breakdown - she's just being herself. Remember, her hubby blamed talk radio for Oklahoma bombing - she's just taken her cue from him by blaming talk radio for inflaming hatred for her and her precious socialized medicine plan. They are peas in a pod - two sides of the same coin - Ahab and Jezebel.

What the article doesn't do is give you the proper perspective on her approval ratings. The poll that they're referring to is the most recent Quinnipiac poll of NY state registered voters which had the following approval rates:
1. Giuliani: 90%
2. Pataki: 81%
3. Bush: 82%
4. Schumer: 69%
5. Clinton: 59%
Notice how in a time of unity, she's only winning a few percent more than she received in the November election. Even Schumer is up by over 15% on his victory over D'Amato in 1998. So, yes they are high for her. However, compared to other major elected officials she is getting next to nothing of a boost.

Great info.
Like it or not, tragedy that unifies people serves up to leaders a great opportunity for leadership, and people are more willing than ever to trust a leader and to give him/her the benefit of doubts that they previously would have witheld. Churchill, Thatcher, and not Giuliani and Bush...A softball of a golden opportunity was served up and it didn't take Barry Bonds to hit it out of the park. And STILL Hillary stumbles.
Her cold phoniness is just so fake, I respect New Yorkers too much to believe they'd fall for that baloney (of course, my state gave the nation Algore, so what can I say.)

"Many of the ongoing services and charitable needs for the homeless, for AIDS victims, for after-school programs, are beginning to feel a real crunch," Clinton said at a "Crain's New York Business" breakfast.
Boo Hoo! Hillary, do you mean to say that those undeserving WTC victims are selfishly draining off funds for your socialist pet projects? I think I'm gonna cry!

That's right, anyone who doesn't agree with Hillary is a member of the VRWC which to her and all liberals means, Terrorist. They as much as said so after the OKC bombings, Notice how she brings up the radio hosts again, just as she did then. The Clinton's and Reno basically blamed Rush for the OKC bombings. They knew better of course, but it was to further their political agenda. She has her political future in mind at all times.

Could you maybe explain what it is you are saying here? I am more than a little confused by your post!
To: VA Advogado
Sorry, I disagree that she has not been hogging the limelight. She has certainly been doing just that, getting in front of a camera with her campaign style speeches since Sept. 11th. Sure, she is the Senator from NY, but that does not mean she should be in front of the media constantly making her stupid sing songie speeches.

I keep looking for a minute trace of conscience or capability for embarrassment in either of the Clintons. I have yet to find it.
