You serve your country every day here Chief :)
....but that was great of you to try and sign up!

Stand by when you hear the five Most Dangerous Things in the Marine Corps:

A Private saying, "I learned this in Basic Training..."
A Sergeant saying, "Trust me, sir..."
A Second Lieutenant saying, "Based on my experience..."
A Captain saying, "I was just thinking..."
A Sergeant Major chuckling, "Watch this sh*t..."

A Sergeant saying, "Trust me, sir..."

I respectfully take issue with this one, with one exception. The time we were on patrol out in that desert ( yes that big ol "nasty" war desert) and he got us lost. We almost fired on another units patrol. as I remember it we could vaguely see sillouettes and my Sgt asked, "Who's there". Someone over there said "Who's that", and I swear to almighty G-D all I heard was about 25 safetly levers instantly clicking over to auto. Man I thought I was dead...

Thanks, Sunny

A few others even older than me wanted to re-up, in order to tapdance on 'OSlimyBeenRotten's skull- noggin.

If I grabbed that SOB, I'd want to put an American Made round through his head, but I'm being selfish. I would let the MF loose in ground Zero, and let all the FireFighters and Police do their number.

The only way to put an end to terrorism is to ~~~SHOCK~~~ the terrorists! Dis-member the SOB, video tape it, and send the tape to every country on the planet!

My .02 cents.

My dad (a Sergeant in WW2) once told me the worst sound you would ever hear in wartime was a Second Lieutenant saying "All ya gotta do is..."
