"...A plane has been detained at Jones Riverside Airport and the FBI is investigating. The instructor and student in the plane that was stopped say they were nowhere near the area..."

One question...

Are they (or do they appear to be) Arabs?

I hope it's a false alarm, stay vigilant!

Now back to "soothing classics" music, in progress...

A small package? How big is the resevor? If its sizable, a small package aint going to cut it, unless it's some super sci-fi fantasy mutagen or something...

(I hope)

We need to stay on top of this one. The Bin Laden Gang has said in previous reports something most spectacular would happen in the next few weeks. Water supply or electricity is my guess(since airspace is pretty tight).

I'm glad to see that people have their eyes open for these possibilities.

I'm not near Tulsa (I'm in West Texas), but about 5:30 this afternoon, I was driving home, and as I neared my home, I noticed people standing outside their homes gazing at the sky. I walked in the house, and my husband said two fighter jets, one following another, had flown fast and low over our house and made the windows and the wine glasses (hanging from a rack) rattle (and, no, I don't live in a trailer house--it's a solid brick). They were flying southbound, but turned back west before they went out of sight.

This happened in broad daylight. I would tend to think it is at least as likely to be a sick minded hoaxster who dropped something like a bag of sugar in the water, as a "real terrorist."

One thing we could use is constant camera surveillance of the air above potential trouble areas like this.

Well that really tears it, doesn't it? Picture this, put a bounty on small planes.

Why would you need a plane to contaminate a water supply?

At times like this I'm glad I was fooled by y2k and bought a British Berkfield water filter and half a dozen jugs of chlorox, and left it all right there in the corner gathering dust.

"I'm not a real doctor, I just play one on the internet..." but...

By the way, doxycycline 200 mg every day is adequate prophylaxis against anthrax and most other common biologicals. Its cheap, safe, and it can be taken chronically without many side effects. (If doxy doesn't stop it as a prophylactic, cipro will, but cipro is not safe for kids.) I'm stocking up on Doxy.

Yup, I'm sure terrorists would attack Tulsa and do it in broad daylight. And of course they would us an extremely expensive and rare form of toxin to do it. Terror in the heartland...
