Here is a collection of links to information you need about Nuclear, Biological & Chemical Warfare- ABC to us oldtimers.
This second thread refines & extracts more links and information you may need. Get it beforehand!
Chances of survival are increased by knowledge and understanding of the capabilities and limitations of each class of weapons.
It is my hope that those of you who have further knowledge, or links, regarding this will add to it-- and pass it along the 'net.

I've put up a webpage with some info and pics on MREs, helmets, gas mask and some other gear. More info to come on water storage and filters and other pertinent topics.

I gave up trying to link this stuff but here's the gist. On Oct. 4, Barbara Simpson had Joel Skousen as her guest on THE ART BELL SHOW. (Skousen has a web site: joelskousen.com (may be org). Regarding anthrax, he recommended that people not take antibiotics because you could become immune to them, but instead start eating healthfully, and start taking natural vitamin C with rosehips, grape seed extract, garlic, olive loaf extract, colital(sp.) silver, some kind of oil from an Australian tree, etc.
They also discussed gas masks. He recommended getting the Israeli civilian mask and replace the old filter in it with a UFM95 filter. (He said the Russian and East German masks were junk.)
For more details on the show, go to Artbell.com archives for October 1, then curser down to October 4.

A "thank you" bump... Re:
getting the Israeli civilian mask
Those are good masks, and the only ones I know of that come in 2 smaller sizes for children ( ! ! ! )- something a lot of people don't even think about. Far as I recall, they take a standard NATO thread ( think it's M-45 ) canister, so you can use various types of filters from other sources as well.
Remember, your best weapon, and best defense, is your mind- arm yourself with knowledge.
