The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left. Ecclesiastes 10:2

In light of the Daffodil Principle where individual efforts over time add up to a mammoth contribution, we are looking at ways to use this lesson as we seek to promote conservatism, the Republican Party and the administration of George Bush.
We are currently involved in a letter-writing campaign - Project Daffodil-Letters. Some of us have been involved in the Klamath Falls Petition, and the People First petition to defund the Endangered Species Act. For more information about these projects and future projects, please visit the link above (Click on the picture above.)

I loved the "Toothless Grin" story! Thanks for pinging me. I needed something to make me smile since my beloved Indianapolis Colts are getting creamed 37-7 by the Patriots. :-{

Thank you swheats! I'm really glad you liked the story! I don't know; you wouldn't necessarily be in the double-minority here; Bob (my fiance) and I have plenty of friends of all ethnic backgrounds, and none of them like Clintoon! Robert, Bob's best friend ever since he was 15 years old (they're both 50 now) and the bass player and band leader of all the bands they're in (three! *G*), gets absolutely sickened by Clintoon and Jesse Jackson. He says, of Jesse Jackson, "that man does
not speak for me!" And Clintoon? "The first black president of the United States, my a**!" (His words, not mine!!) *VBG*
This site needs updating something terrible, but in case anyone is interested, this is Bob (he's assistant band leader) and Robert's main money-making band --
Click on Chameleon to read about them and hear them! (Click into their "music" page to listen!) (I didn't create the site, so the apostrophe boo-boo isn't mine! I told Mar that it's incorrect a couple of years ago, and she hasn't changed it. I think she thinks I'm fried in the head; she may be right! *G*)
Anyway, you've got plenty of support from the black community here, swheats. Robert's sentiments are echoed by nearly everyone I know! ;-}

I've heard of "pearls before swine" but never "pearls ON swine".

UH oh!! I'll hold my tongue about Peyton Manning! *G* (I am
not a U of TN fan!! And since my mom is from Mississippi, I grew up with "Archie, Archie, Archie," and now it's "Peyton, Peyton, Peyton!" Aaaarrgghhhhh!!)
I meant to watch the Titans today, but I couldn't find them. Then a friend of Bob's called and let him know that a friend of theirs had died. He was the drummer for one of the first bands they were all in. It's been rather subdued here since then. ;-{
Anyhoo -- you are very welcome! I'm glad you liked it. I didn't want anyone to think I'm full of hot air; I mean, people can get online and say, "yeah, I'm a professional freelance writer, and I'm so-and-so and this-and-that," so I figured I'd post an article for my own peace of mind! ;-}
Thank you so much for letting me know you liked it!!

Thanks for a great day of lurking: it is now time for dinner prep. Grilled tuna steak, extra-large, fresh from the Gulf shrimp cocktail, chilled asparagus spears, and crusty french bread - y'all come, JL

I just thought of something you might not have heard about yet - right up your ally, I think, since it's all about words, etc. Check out the Word for the Day threads. They're challenging, and I think they're daily, too! I've "visited" it a few times, but never got that involved - I'm not too much a "word" person - I'm more a "picture" person!

``We have come a long way from the time when people in our country thought it was all right to kill the innocent,'' So what is it that we do to the tune of 4,000-5,000 per day in the womb?
To: ClancyJ
WOW ! Thank you so much ClancyJ. ! Fantastic song !
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
x42 is certifiable. The only Americans who think killing the innocent is okay are the pro-aborts, which includes x42 and his evil consort. I'm guessing he was making a veiled reference to lynchings, just to play up to his audience. Surprisingly, he didn't bring up church burnings in 1950s Arkansas. Must have forgotten his notes.

Senator Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., listen to former President Bill Clinton speaking at the Congressional Black Caucus 2001 Annual Legislative Conference in Washington Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001.She must be in love - she even shampooed her hair. Check it out!
SLJP, loved your story. Makes one really stop and think about what we are teaching our children about caring for others.

The 'toons remind me of Willie Mays, staggering around center field in his Mets uni, his glory days way past, trying in vain to recapture what could never be recaptured.
The traitorous scum, will they never go away?
JohnRob, give me back my e-mail address bar! Now! Please?
