I joined DU just to post an article the other night...five minutes after posting it (it would have taken less time had I used my FReeper name--they don't want anyone to know that hispana and republicana can be used in the same sentence) anyway, five minutes later, I was banned (my password no longer worked--I guess that's banned). My husband and I did a high-five (we considered it an honor or a right of passage or something). He was SO PROUD OF ME! He rewarded me with a sweet, connubial, legal-in-50-states-and-all-the-territories, Godly,.....night!

I did the same last week, I wreaked havoc with some weenie called "Plato" and one other idiot savant called "Christopher"..............I went back a few hours later and been exiled from the Socialist Clintonista Web site..........

But tell your husband, I rather just have a slap on the back for doing good....:o) Stay Safe !

I was banned about 6 or seven times so far. The latest ban was today. :-)

I got banned from DU 3 times in 1 day!

DU banning #1: For merely commenting on a pro-Bush article by Gerald Posner (a leftist.)

DU banning #2: For posting a paragraph of the Hitchens piece from the Nation.

DU banning #3: Well I was fed up by then and I gave them a piece of my mind.

Here's a DU posting hint: The thought police there check out your post while you are previewing it! Therefore if they see anything objectionable, they will ban you before it can even be posted.

Solution? Simply do all your editing in your word processor, then when it's ready, cut a paste it into their form and post it all in one fell swoop with no preview. Then, at least, the post will appear before you are banned, and believe me, you will be banned if you step out of the party line.
