Radio Host Prager Going Ballistic Over CNN's Non-use of Word "Terrorist"

You all should give a listen to Dennis Prager (syndicated radio host) right now. He is livid over the CNN/Reuter's decision not to use the word "terrorists" in describing the "alleged hijackers."

"I hate fools," Dennis says, and calls them "cowardly" and "incompetent." He states they don't "tell the truth" and/or are "manipulating the truth." (No news to FReepers.) He is asking his listeners not to watch CNN in protest; he states this is a first for him - he never tells listeners what to read or watch - but thinks CNN has gone way over the line. Furthermore, he says he is no longer going to be citing stories over the air sourcing CNN or Reuters as he feels they have lost all credibility.

Dennis says he has been invited on CNN a number of times, and if this means he is never invited back on again, so be it. He says it's time for all of us to stand up and be heard.

I used to listen to Prager in New York all the time. He stopped doing that 9:00 AM show because it was too hard for him to get prepared by 6:00 AM in California.

Dennis Prager and Jay Diamond were the two best "thinking man's" radio hosts, in my opinion. Not that everyone else was dumb, but those two had a way of making their case in a very clear, concise, logical manner.

Listen to this story! I went to work this morning sporting a "Wanted Dead or Alive" T-shirt with Osama Bin Laden's picture on it. Almost everyone wanted to know where I got it and how they can purchase it. I should also prefix this story with telling you I work for a large corporation in a High-Rise near LA International Airport. I needed to get some papers signed and the manager, a woman who is noted for her liberal biases, just went balistic when she saw my t-shirt. She told me to go change. I responded with this is a first ammendment issue and that I can wear any t-shirt I want. I also explained to her that I had lost two friends in the attack to which she responded, "I feel for you but...". I told her that the only way this t-shirt would be taken off is if she ripped it off my dead body. She told me to go cool-off and her I am writing to all of you. Does anyone have any advise or comments. Please no flames.

I think you deserved to be flamed for this. What kind of a moron buys a shirt like that. Dennis agrees with you. He said he is actually "begging" us to take issue with CNN. (This is highly unlike him.) He states that we need to fight back - after all, this is war - and if we don't, "we deserve this sort of treatment."

On 9/11 CNN kept reporting even after the second tower was hit, that apparent problems with inertial guidance systems had caused the "accidents".

Let me see if I understand. The first amendment is to protect our freedoms?
