So that guy in the pink sweater and poodle skirt with the M-16 was a Delta Force member?
Piss off, pansy. You shill for the terrorists with your seeds of doubt and division. You're not welcome here in my FR home, ya hear.
Amen.
Don't bet on it.
Afghanistan chewed up an entire generation of Russia's special forces.
Why yes, it did. But Russia was trying to HOLD ground. This time no one gives a hoot about ground. Now, the taliban are running before a ragtag NA army, and fleeing over the borders. The taliban are not the people who took down the Russians- only the unified Afghani people did so with the aid of the USA.
Again, Israel is not worth a multi-year war that results in the deaths of thousands of America's soldiers, their wives widowed and their children orphaned, the destruction of America's economy, the prospect of biological and chemical retaliation on America's own soil, and the destruction of America's own ideals as an open society with full civil liberties.
We aren't doing it for Israel. We've already lost 7000 Americans in this war. Their children are orphaned and their spouses widowed. THe economy has already taken a hit, and we will be suffer additional attacks no matter what we do now- but we will take increasingly egregious ones if we do nothing. And if we do nothing, the use of terror will be rewarded and American liberties will be swallowed by fear.
What's the point of fighting the Taliban if America so easily welcomes the Talibanization of America itself through the curtailment of civil liberties, national ID card, facial recognition cameras on every American street corner, the crushing of any dissent, etc.
The point of fighting them is that if we do not, we WILL suffer all these things and more. Guaranteed. My civil liberties have yet to be curtailed from this event. There is no national ID card and there never will be one for me. There is some muted mumbling about one, but NO ONE has yet admitted to endorsing the idea. Face recognition camerals, well, while they are silly they are not a 'violation of my liberties' unless I'm forced to pay for them. Anyone with a camera and a scanner can take my picture in public anyway and there isn't anything I can do to stop it. But in any case, facial recognition cameras have nothing to do with the Taliban- that issue came up long ago.
Nice try at propagandizing though.
Bank on it.
I had read one time that no one in that unit is a "combat virgin", all of them know what the real thing is about.
