It is not enough to deal with the terrorists you have to deal with the problem that created the insurgency movement in the first place, otherwise the terrorist keeps coming back.
Where Chechnya is concerned I feel in the end it will mean giving them there independence, it odes not mean Russia has to totally relinquish control, after all look at all the countries we in the West control indirectly through economic means.

I still remember finding the kidnapped British soldier nailed to a kitchen table and tortured to death.
Young soldiers were kidnapped while off duty tortured and killed.
And what about sending special operation groups to New York and Boston and blowing up the bars where IRA funds are collected.
I don’t believe in any of those measures, I believe in fighting the terrorist but not making war on civilians, otherwise what makes me any different to an SS man or a member of the old NKVD.
