The people protesting this weekend will be the same ones who tore up Seattle and Gstaad last year, and were planning to destroy Genoa at the G-8 meeting that was cancelled. They are extremely violent and no one should go who is not prepared to get hurt and, before it's over, gassed by the police.

Well, I didn't say I was an expert here.. lol I would guess the guy being pasted in and the pic was maybe taken from another plane. Would they let a plane that close to a building at normal times? Ah fold....

The JPEG file format uses lossy compression. You can adjust the loss/filesize ratio. If you look at the photo greatly enlarged, you will see that the plane was at some point a seperate photo, compressed at a higher ratio than the person in the foreground. It results in a "grainier" image, while the natural effects of distance would be a "fuzzier" image. After they were combined, they seem to have been washed through the JPEG algorithym several times to blend them together, but the difference is still there.

I caught part of an interview with a survivor, she walked down the stairs from the 55th floor in Tower Two. She said at first they thought it was an earthquake, then she looked out the window, saw paper and debris raining down, she got her pocketbook and hauled it. She said everyone was pretty clam. After going down all those flights of stairs, she then walked across some bridge. The next day she said she was unable to walk a step.

The G-8 loonies are essentially anarchists. They didn't turn out for Gore, or even for Nader,(and where is the old Arab these days?)but at their core has always been anti-Americanism, and this is their generations chance to trash Amerika. I don't know that they will turn up, but I can't imagine them missing out. They have learned to organise secretly over the last 2 or 3 big riots, and I will bet they are busy planning

Dear Freepers

I am one that has followed and cheered your efforts since I have been a Freeper. I have seen perhaps every photo and every word of the events that you have participated in to help our country.

But, I am in the position now of saying that I think you should let this one alone.

I have been through many wars...and I have never seen patriotic persons protesting the protesters of the wars. Really. Why, because we don't need to, as we are the real Americans and the country is behind US, except for a few rabble that want to be in the public eye. I am laughing as I remember how Bush the elder shut down the protester's drums in Lafayette Park during Desert Storm. He announced that the protesters and their drums exceeded the noice level law in DC and that was that, they were gone.

Please don't think that I am in any way unappreciative of your efforts, but I think that this is not the time for your activism.

I would rather see the rabble show the world their pathetic anti-American stance...and the rest of us go on with our lives.
