BALONEY. But, I like baloney for sandwiches....
Really, though..., that just doesn't fit. Too many problems.
I honestly don't see it, do you have a picture?
They have received their reward.
Gawd..., now I seriously doubt that. You gotta be kidding.
There's nothing wrong with the Bible and God's word on prophetic events. But, there's something seriously wrong with that statement. If this is the biggest single posting event that you've seen in your life, you need to get out more.
Like I said, this casts no dispersions upon God, but upon your "eventless life".
He that 'hath' wisdom........
Maranatha, look up,......our redemption/redeemer Jesus is coming again just as He PROMISED.
The 'mark' is RELIGIOUS!!! (Pagan)
It may be that it isn't America as a whole that is the equivalent of Babylon of old, but NYC.
With a nod to Falwell and Farrakhan, I quote Revelations 18: 9-19:
"And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning.
Stand afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city; for in one hour is thy judgment come.
And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
The merchants of gold, and silver, and ...[long list of merchandise]
...and the souls of men.
And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as tread by sea, stood afar off,
And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour she is made desolate."
My main thought, distinctive from Falwell and Farrakhan, however, is that the Islamic fundamentalists can read Revelations as well as we can, and may have taken this as their blueprint for how to attack us.
Can't have that house topple, eh?
I might suggest you change the headline to:
I looked at the sun for hours and I saw 666
Ah yes, but when is the "wrath of God" poured out? Not at the beginning of the Tribulation, but toward the end, in the bowl judgements. Read "The Pre-Wrath Rapture of the Church" by Marvin Rosenthal :)
Actually, this is false.
During the Tribulation there will be 144,000 Messianic Jews on Earth who will have been converted by God to Christianity. These are known as the "Tribulation Saints," whose sole purpose is to save as many as possible
after the Rapture.
Revelation tells us that, when those saved by these Saints stand before God, their number is too large to count. These will be people who did not believe in time to participate in the Rapture, but who knew their error once these last few Biblical prophecies became fulfilled, and who then convert to Salvation in Christ.
Note how those who worship Mammon ridicule God's true Word, and ridicule you as they did His Son, Jesus... just as the Bible predicted they would.
They have received their reward.
Let's get this straight -- before you go any further with this ridicule idea. It's true that there are going to be those who ridicule believers in Christ for their faith. However, that's not the same thing as ridiculing a false idea of what Scripture teaches in the way of either Babylon or with the mark or with certain end-time scenarios.
I've got to tell you -- as a Christian -- that some of them are just so ridiculous and funny and heretical. I don't know whether to laugh, or cry or throw up my hands. It is so ridiculous.
Now, that doesn't mean that one cannot discuss them. Go right ahead, but some of those ideas are so, so ridiculous. Others are so heretical. And then again -- there are going to be those who won't believe me either -- huh?
In that case, you can't use the "justification of ridicule" to be your proof that what you say is true. It simply "won't wash" under that criteria.
I can see it now (telling the Lord) -- "But, I thought I was right, when they started ridiculing me." The Lord answers and says, "I thought it was funny, too." That's no blasphemy -- because I'm sure a lot of this stuff causes the Lord to laugh out loud (LOL). He's probably saying to Himself, "Where do they come up with this stuff?"
Having it pulled would be merciful.
Having it pulled would be merciful.
I agree with 99% of the post...the only thing I'm not sure of is your interpetation of 666/999. In my opinion, it's not 6-6-6, but either 600 AND 60 AND 6, or the number six-hundred and sixty six.
The rest of you would be well advised to read this instead of poking fun. It could save your soul.
Yeah, know it -- but don't buy it. I've got some Christian friends who are swayed by the idea. But, I'm not. It's going to be a Pre-Tribulational Rapture, because of all the other things in the Bible that it fits. It fits the last 7 years being for Israel and not the church. It fits the "marriage allusions" in Scripture -- which I believe God set up to be a picture of that Rapture. It presents a very good and "integrated whole" being pre-trib.
But, as I understand -- it won't matter what you believe in terms of the Rapture, because when it's time to go -- you'll go no matter what you believe in this particular item.
I'll just be telling a bunch of other people (on the way up) -- "I told you so..." :) :)
..."These are the ones who come out of the Great Tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."
