They have received their reward.
Note how those who worship Mammon ridicule God's true Word, and ridicule you as they did His Son, Jesus... just as the Bible predicted they would.
They have received their reward.
Let's get this straight -- before you go any further with this ridicule idea. It's true that there are going to be those who ridicule believers in Christ for their faith. However, that's not the same thing as ridiculing a false idea of what Scripture teaches in the way of either Babylon or with the mark or with certain end-time scenarios.
I've got to tell you -- as a Christian -- that some of them are just so ridiculous and funny and heretical. I don't know whether to laugh, or cry or throw up my hands. It is so ridiculous.
Now, that doesn't mean that one cannot discuss them. Go right ahead, but some of those ideas are so, so ridiculous. Others are so heretical. And then again -- there are going to be those who won't believe me either -- huh?
In that case, you can't use the "justification of ridicule" to be your proof that what you say is true. It simply "won't wash" under that criteria.
I can see it now (telling the Lord) -- "But, I thought I was right, when they started ridiculing me." The Lord answers and says, "I thought it was funny, too." That's no blasphemy -- because I'm sure a lot of this stuff causes the Lord to laugh out loud (LOL). He's probably saying to Himself, "Where do they come up with this stuff?"
