I am a Christian but I am still afraid, especially for my young children. I know that it is difficult to find the US in biblical prophecy, especially in the end times. Could it be that we simply don't exist? I fear that is the answer.
Maybe the beast that rises out of the sea in revelation is not the UN but Terrorism, different from the others beasts is it not? There is no way the US can protect itself from biological, chemical or nuclear weapons, we haven't the will to fight political correctness and evict our enemies.
As terrible as this sounds, I'm afraid, I mean really afraid, it's effecting my ability to concentrate and work. Forgive me for posting this.
Feast Day September 29
Saint Michael the Archangel
defend us in our day of battle;
protect us against the deceit
and wickedness of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we
humbly pray.
And you, O prince of the
heavenly host, by the power of
God banish into hell Satan and
all of the evil spirits who roam
through the world seeking the
ruin of souls. Amen
Get the picture of Saint Michael stomping on the devil and remember good will prevail over evil. His feast day is this Friday.
This is a little contradictory isn't it??

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind
Come again about a feast of angel?
Got this in my "Health Tips" in my mail today. This will soothe the soul..
TESTS FOR BIOLOGICAL WARFARE AGENTS Headache, muscle pain and appetite loss are classic flu symptoms. They are also markers of biological warfare agents such as Anthrax, Q-fever, Staph enterotoxin B and other deadly pathogens. To quickly identify these dangerous pathogens, Cepheid of Sunnyvale, Calif., has developed DNA-testing technology. An early prototype is to be ready for testing by the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases by the end of the year. The battery-operated device is about the size of a breadbox. Cepheid is collaborating with Environmental Technologies Group of Baltimore, Md., in the development of bio-agent detection systems for military and other domestic preparedness applications, said Tom Gutshall, Cepheid co-founder, chief executive officer and chair.
Perhaps this bit of wisdom may help:
"Our times are in his hand
Who saith, 'A whole I planned,
Youth shows but half; trust God: see all, nor be afraid!'(Robert Browning)
Teach your children well, with love and confidence.
If you claim as your own the teachings of "the Christ," and display anxiety and fear in your life and actions, then you dispute the very doctrine you claim.
Stop having an intellectual relationship with Christianity. Absorb its teachings into your very being, and you will feel peace and confidence in the midst of the most threatening circumstance.
Remember, "Our times are in His hand Who saith, 'A whole I planned.... Trust God....'"
By the very act of its creation, life has purpose and meaning. "Fear not!"
If you have received Jesus Christ as your Saviour, there's nothing to fear.
The fate of the United States is foretold in Bible prophecy, in great detail. The Rapture is closely connected with the fate of America. You can read about these things here.
As for your young children, you'll find answers about that in "Notes on the Rapture" at the same site.
And if you are not sure you are saved, you'll find information on how to get saved on the site as well.
I hope this will assist you in finding the answers and comfort you are seeking.

This is nothing but pure speculation on your part, your mind looking at current events and discerning the patterns you want to find.
We are much better served by living each day as if it were our last in the sight of the Lord rather than trying to anticipate Armageddon in every headline.
I believe Mystery Babylon (in Revelation) who is drunk with the blood of the Saints is the culmination (in the Tribulation time) of all the world's false religions. It is headed by the False Prophet, who is the cohort of the Antichrist (at the time).
This is not in place at this present time. I believe the Rapture, where all the world's Christians are removed from the scene -- will be the key part to putting everything into motion.
However, even so, things can (and are) "moving into position" at the present time, so that the world's "infrastructure" and "national alignments" can be properly organized (by God's will) to "facilitate" all that -- when the Christians are taken out of this world by Christ. Then things will move quickly.
Right now, it's all just "pre-positioning".
And, don't forget that the beast out of the sea is the last world kingdom (as described in the Bible), with the beast out of the land (being the Antichrist) -- and who becomes an "eighth" from the "seventh". He, himself, becomes a world kingdom -- in that he is total dictator over all the world. This is where he sets himself up (as the abomination of desolation) in the sanctuary in Jerusalem, and declares himself to be God.
This immediately precipitates God's wrath upon the earth. This is why people in Jerusalem are told to immediately get out of town and not to even go back into their houses. It's during this following time that God finally "expends all His wrath" which has been stored up from the beginning of the human race in the Garden of Eden. At the end of the Tribulation time, God's wrath (which has been stored up) is fully released and none is left.
We're only seeing the beginning signs and glimpses of what is yet to come. The players are not all here yet and everyone is not "pre-positioned" yet. But, it's coming soon.
We're getting our warnings to be ready and to "look up" for the Lord is coming quickly.
This is total "garbage prophecy". It's so "whacked" that it doesn't fit anything that the Bible says.
It's something like "pop prophecy" from "newspaper headlines" and a dose of "political persuasion".
Try really reading and studying what the Bible says about these things. The Bible defines who the dragon is (for one thing) -- in pretty clear and in exact terms -- that you choose to ignore. And you're ignoring the rest of what the Bible says about these things, too.
The fate of the United States is foretold in Bible prophecy, in great detail. The Rapture is closely connected with the fate of America. You can read about these things here.
What you described here, as America being the Babylon as described in Jeremiah is simply false. It's about Babylon of Jeremiah's time. It's specifically related to a piece of land over there. It's so tightly related to that land over there (where Israel was taken captive), that Jeremiah instructs someone to go to that land (which existed *at that time*) and read what he had written.
This is not about America.
However, there is another spot where America appears to be in Scripture. It's simply not the Babylon where Nebuchadnezzar was king and where Israel was taken captive (as Jeremiah describes).
However, in regards to the Rapture..., I would agree that it will have a profound effect upon America and the ones who are "left behind". It's at that time that many things in the world will quickly come together under the rule of the Antichrist (including America). But, America is not Babylon.
