Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel

Feast Day September 29

Saint Michael the Archangel

defend us in our day of battle;

protect us against the deceit

and wickedness of the devil.

May God rebuke him, we

humbly pray.

And you, O prince of the

heavenly host, by the power of

God banish into hell Satan and

all of the evil spirits who roam

through the world seeking the

ruin of souls. Amen

Get the picture of Saint Michael stomping on the devil and remember good will prevail over evil. His feast day is this Friday.

Jude 9 says, "Yet Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, dared NOT bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The LORD rebuke thee."

Where? do you get a notion of Michael Stomping the devil if he even dared not rebuke him?
