Hes shedding a tear, but we will help him heal!
The FreeRepublic Network Cruise will set sail in just three weeks
We will gather together to begin our journey of healing. Wiping the tears from our eyes, we will draw together on the deck of this glorious vessel, lift our eyes to the sky, and sing to the heavens God Bless America.
We are Freepers, but were Americans first. And we are proud, strong and united. They can never take that away from us. For information and reservations go to the FR Network Cruise Website HERE

Crying Eagles are for WIMPS. MY Eagle FLIES high and CRIES out for justice. MY Eagle WILL never cry a tear! My eagle leads fighting men and women into war...not crying over terrorist's crimes. MY eagles LEADS our nation and I find the crying eagle a disgrace to OUR national symbol.

Larry 54 and I are ready to go. Scared, but convinced we need the vacation.
(Bump, to find out who's still going)

I just checked on the Sheraton Yankee Clipper, which was booked, full the last time. There are tons of rooms, now. I got a king size, city view for $119 a nite.
We got our documents from RCCL yesterday. We can book excursions on line. What looks good?
Also, Larry 54 is being resistant about the tux. Are most of you men wearing tuxes for Formal nite? (Bear in mind that *every man* looks like James Bond [any of them, including Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan] or Tom Selleck in a tux.)

I'm in the process of beating and whipping m'man about a tux (so ignore any obvious bruising you might see - I'm trying to keep them in covered areas.) I'm having a little difficulty trying to convince him that twice in one year is perfectly normal and
expected in proper company!! He just can't get past the
Inaugural Ball/Tux/Formal/I've done that already thing.

I'm curious why you all booked a hotel near port Everglades, when I thought our ship leaves fom Port of Miami.
Do we need to bring our own towels for excursions or is it okay to use ship towels??
To: Dan Walsh, Minute Gal, Bahama Mama
Well, now. Let's see. Any hotel you choose to use is fine. The Cruise Committee wanted to make sure we were together prior to the cruise so we could iron out any last minute details, so we're all staying at the same hotel. But wherever you choose to stay is fine.
As for the towels . . . Bahama Mama, can you take this question?

So is your husband going to give in? (Bruises below the elbow would show in a sports shirt, not in a tux) I have the same problem. We cruised in April, with 2 formal nites so 2 nites in tuxes. But he sure cleans up nice.
Towels are available on the way off the ship or your room steward will deliver them to the cabin. Cruise Critics community bulletin board is a good source for this information http://messages.cruisecritic.com/2/OpenTopic?q=Y&a=frm&s=927093444&f=408097554

So is your husband going to give in? Right now, only God knows! But, on the other hand, the thought of what I might have to trade off to get this tux deal . . . ARGGGHHH!

I'm having the same problem with Cyber Liberty, also. He wants to just bring a suit.
A man in a tux is just soooooooo sexy!

Oh, well. I'm just glad he's taking me!
BTW, can anyone forge Horowitz's signature? I've bought a lot of his books and was going to get him to sign them for me on the cruise.

"I just checked on the Sheraton Yankee Clipper, which was booked, full the last time. There are tons of rooms, now. I got a king size, city view for $119 a nite."We booked our room there a long time ago. Can't remember the price, though. I'll have to look it up.
It will be wonderful to get away.

Cruise ship men's shops usually carry some bow ties, cuff links and such, for passengers who might have forgotten to bring such items. But they sell mostly stuff that tourists like to buy, like t-shirts, sweat shirts, hats/caps, swim suits, tropical shirts, you name it. All pretty high quality stuff. But sorry, no tuxedos for rent. The shops on board are quite small, not like in a mall!

The documents from the Cruiseline had an ad from the company that rents tuxes on the ship. Larry rented one that way on our cruise in April. Shirt, tie, everything delivered to our room for no more than a one day rental on land. The suit was in good shape, and fit well.
