I have repeatedly on this forum condemned the rampant racial prejudice that has wrapped itself in the cloak of patriotism. At the same time, it is pretty overwhelming evidence that radical islamics are at the core of our terrorist problems. Therefore, turning one's scrutiny towards those of Middle East origin rather than asking Wesport Connecticut girls whether they have packed a nuclear bomb in their compact case that morning would be the height of sensibility.

Anne's ridicule of this idiotic procedure is right on target. We got these questions from the security agents for El Al. But they don't just ask these questions. They give anyone suspicious a 2 hr grilling at the gate, looking for signs of nervousness and inconsistency. They know what they are doing and know what is at stake. It is a whole lot more sophisticate than these idiotic "is that a nuke in your pocket or are you just happy to see me" kinds of questions?

If we were inundated by a hoard of Scandanavian terrorists it would be legitimate to scrutinise closely the actions of those with Scandanavian backgrounds - and my family would be in those cross hairs. Well actually I think most lefties feel this is a time to cower under a rock, or surrender. BTW, does Chelsea have her draftcard yet? Surely Hitlery and Linda Bloodless Thomason's(sp?)band of Zena Warrior Princesses, Dark Angels, Buffy slayers, etc. can do the job so all the weak cookie baking "men of the 90's" can stay home.

I don't believe anyone is advocating expelling ACTUAL Americans, whether they be Muslim, Arab or whatever...just the "guests" that are here illegally. I wholeheartedly concur. If the Arabs and Muslims who are citizens in this country would be honest about what they know of their homelands, they would be for the expulsion of these "guests" and illegals too.

Racial profiling is only common sense and it saves precious time and lives. Why not use common sense when looking at skin color? The tolerant "leftists" have been undermining common sense for the last 30 years, a characteristic that has been part of the founding principle and responsible for much success of this great nation. Because of the leftists' immigration policies and laws, we have allowed common sense to be questioned and demonized, when, in fact, it is a very effective tool in a lot of ways.
