No American flags. No Red ,White and Blue. No
patriotic tunes.
Everyone in black. . Oh wait, I get it! It's a wake for liberalism!
I can deal with that.
Where is Ethel when we really need her?

Some of them mean well, but......"You're kinder than I even though I grant you that they think they're helping. It's just that I see them as so superficial in these serious times.

These guys are doing a tribute to the people who died while giving their lives trying to help. It's a wake of sorts, not a rallying cry to war. It's playing the piano at a friend's funeral. The purpose is to raise money for the relatives. They're going to raise millions! Maybe it's not a warbond rally, but can you really fault them for sticking to their purpose? Give 'em a few weeks to get over the shock of their failed philosophies and we'll soon see a rousing, nationalistic, practically jingoistic series of shows as they catch war fever.

On a serious note, is it me or is Tom Petty sounding more and more like Bob Dylan? It's not just you. Slap a curly brown wig on him and you wouldn't know who was who.
Yes! I'm an old lady who every time she hears Tom Petty asks if that's not Bob Dylan. My kids sneer, but right from the beginning I've said he was Bob Dylan on speed.

I was trying to make it to the end of the thread, but I am afraid that I may meet my demise in laughter.
I have come into this thread hours after you have all posted and if you do not hear from me again, my hubby has committed me.
I cannot stop laughing, in fact, I think I am afraid.
