Speaking of Clymers ...
Alberta's Child teaches a lesson to the newest Clymer, William Kristol.

He touched all of the bases and high-fived his way to the dugout. Awesome. And I think Hillary hit a foul ball while her teammate, Barbara Lee, struck out.

I have heard a lot of speeches in my life. President Bush just gave the greatest and most inspiring speech I have ever heardHe gets it. Liberty and freedom constantly on the lips of an American President. I met him in Hartford, Ct during the primary. A man for the moment, no doubt about it.

DiFi on Larry King Live just gave Bush a Ten on the speech and now she is sounding like a bona fide grade a WARHAWK parroting phrases of the speech! I am shocked! For cripes sakes people, the polls are saying 90% of Americans approve what Bush is doing. Is it any wonder these pantie wastes are jumping on board? Remember, the Clinton supporters got less than 50% at the polls. Don't be surprised when the elections come along and the Dems trot out their support for W as a campaign positive. (I will then know this is only a dream)...

You've met Bush, too? I've met him and talked with him twice, been in his presence two other times. He is such a man - all the best wrapped up in one - but it doesn't always come across on television. Tonight, it all came out. I love him and tonight I am proud. We needed a night like this as a nation.

That was a truly inspiring speech. I can't say enough about it. I'm a bit "speechless" myself. I was so awe-striken that I stood up in my house, alone and aplauded.
I cannot give enough praise to the impact, the true emotional impact that I got from this speech. He even brought tears to my eyes; not tears of sadness but tears of hope. This will go down in history as one of the finest speeches in this country's history. W was great.

I am so proud of you President Bush ,You are a true American .You make this country proud of you.Thank You for the best speech ever. We're all proud to be americans and to have a great leader.

When Bush hugged dashole and gephart I thought of the old saying keep your friends close and your enemies closer. This is a very smart Pres, generous, kind hearted and absolutely tough and able to size up and deal with other men. Compare that to the gender confused pile of poo we just got rid of. This was a great speech. It was not FDR or Churchhill but, hey, the man is just starting. The dems are kissing you know what so much they will all be sick in the am,,I never so so much rush to grovel in my life.

What we saw tonight was "Pedicaris alive, or El-Rasaouli dead" --
and Jefferson's war against the Barbary Pirates.
Times ten.
A man could get rich selling toilet paper and clean underwear in Afghanistan tonight...

A perfect speech, in every way. So please understand this is not a criticism of anything that was said.
I am very dissappointed that one of the major points of our policy is not reparations. There is no way the human suffering and personal loss can ever be repaid, but this disaster has an enormous financial cost, the immediate cost of the destroyed property, the cost of the rescue, clean-up, the millions lost by all of the companies that have been directly or indirectly disupted (or put out of business), the affect on our air travel industry, the losses to the insurance companies. There is the huge cost entailed by the increased security measures that will now be put in place, and the military cost cannot probably be measured.
All of this must repaid by those responsible for them, that is, all those nations that made these and all terrorist acts possbile, by protecting and aiding them.
I will not believe this is truly a war against anything if those who caused it are not going to be the ones that must pay for it.
