#14 Good idea. Put them in prison with a pork diet...oh, on second thought the ACLU will call that cruel and unusual punishment.

We have some exceptionally well qualified cops in our system. They are finally free to do their jobs, and they will do it very well.
Its amazing how good our government can be when the people are unleashed to do the things government was designed to do.

Or how's about a fire truck loaded with anthrax, spraying into a densly populated city area.
To: VA Advogado
I wonder how they were going to use the amblulences and the fire trucks? Maybe to gain access to places they normally wouldn't be allowed in? My guess would be as a follow up truck bomb to an already bombed site. Terrorists usually like to do a double hit so that would-be rescuers are also killed. Its supposed to make would-be rescuers think twice about attempting to help victims....

...they are contaminated with the blood and flesh of the swine. Issue all aircraft passengers a slice of raw bacon on boarding.

If there is to be another attack on America, it will be aimed at our war-fighting capacity. Attacking a civilian target will only stiffen our resolve and piss us off even more, and there is no need to do that. If they want to hit us here, they will attack a naval or air force base with an old Soviet suitcase nuke.
But it's more likely that they will attack a European capital to discourage that country from backing our effort. Look for a weapon of mass destruction to be detonated in London, Paris or Berlin tomorrow.

I believe with the damage of one dam, the course of the Mississippi River could be changed and shut down all shipping up that river. (Which is substancial) If this dam is blown, the Mississippi River would completely by pass New Orleans. Just one of many possible terrorists targets. Keep your eyes open friends.
Thank you. That information was the last piece of the puzzle in helping answer the 'moving this year's the superbowl' suggestion.

"I've started carrying a fanny pack now. "
Me too. Since I work in Jersey City, NJ (People's Republic of.. therefore no CCW), My briefcase now contains a gas mask and extra filter. We need a federally mandated CCW program NOW!!!

our constitutional right to travel through the air is being held hostage by irrational fears How is this irrational?

But it's too anti-PC to work. The media would be up in arms. Backlash. Maybe later, but not just yet....
I'm sure the CIA can whip up a nice brochure to drop from the sky explaining exactly what's going to happen. Maybe they're just do the Manuel Noriega thing with the speakers and pigs oinking?

"That information was the last piece of the puzzle in helping answer the 'moving this year's the superbowl' suggestion." Hmmmm. I hadn't considered that angle. The Mississippi is being forced into it's present course. It wants to go down the Atchafalia swamp area, like it did 1-200,000 years ago. They're already having problems keeping it out of the swamp. Issue all aircraft passengers a slice of raw bacon on boarding.I like it! BLTs should also be served as an in-flight meal.

For the benefit of the others here, New Orleans, I believe, is where the Superbowl is suppose to be played this year. However, I wonder how long it would take from the time the dam goes till the time the water floods NO?

Double numbers. Getting closer. Key is not all terrorists are Islamists.

My husband was in the 7-11 last Thurs night at 1:00am (actually Fri morn) and 2 middle eastern men were at the counter asking where the water treatment plant in our city was located. He told them he didn't know and the clerk at the counter told them she didn't know. He reported it to the FBI and they have called him 4 different times talking to him now since then. There is absolutely no reason why anyone should be wanting to know where a water treatment plant is located, much less at that hour of the day.

The Scientific American article deals with a big hurricane. ....and the dam I was referring to would cause the Mississipi River to by pass New Orleans. Now, there are dikes all around New Orleans that could be breached causing it to flood. New Orleans is below sea level. People there 'bury' their dead on stilts.

The Constitution is a limit on Government, not on citizens. If it's not expressed in the Constitution, then government has no authority to prohibit it, tax it or make laws about it. I thought that if its not in the constitution the FEDERAL government had no authority, but the states' could still pass their own laws prohibiting, taxing and making law...
