CIA directed in 1995 to seek Video Pirates
Fox News Channel | 9/18/01

Posted on 09/18/2001 7:35:33 AM PDT by MarketR

This just in to Fox News....Jim Christiansen, former CIA operative just said on Fox News that the CIA was directed in 1995 to seek out Video Pirates instead of terrorists.

He stated that during a top level meeting in which CIA and FBI were present, the station chief said that all efforts were being direscted toward Video Piracy instead of terrorism. The station chief, when questioned, stated that the directive came from the DCI. Who, of course, takes his orders from the President.

Did anyone see Bob Dornan of Fox and Friends this morning? He was seething! But one of his comments (to paraphrase) was that he is afraid for our future. These terrorists are producing radical children - and these children are smart - they are being very well educated - compared to American children.

He also said, the US should not rush in for retaliation. This will a prolong war as it should be.

People like Bill Casey became dinosaurs in our intelligence community. But he understood the real-world rules of the game.

Is there a case to be made against the Traitor x-42 for say "willful negligence" ?
Criminal Stupidity ?

I refuse to believe that Klinton DIDN'T KNOW that this would be the result.

"the CIA was directed in 1995 to seek out Video Pirates instead of terrorists."

It would be great if this was given as a Executive Order and maybe it was. Any evidence, in terms of a memo, etc to back this up and then let us show it to the firemen and policemen of NYC.

Very distressing, but in some ways not surprising considering who/what was at helm from 1992-2000 --I think many disturbing facts about the past 8 years will continue to emerge! I am just thankful we have a REAL administration at helm now to clean up this mess!

In the case of the CIA, why did none of our agents resign, as a matter of principle, and begin making the rounds of the talk show circuit, so as to inform the nation of what was happening to the CIA?

I was thinking the same thing. Where were the patriots in these agencies? Getting mad about it is fine as long as you DO something about it.

I don't want to believe that your explaination is right, but with little other explaination.......

Someone on our radio said that we should all look at her campaign finance records and we will find ties to terrorist organizations that used front people to donate to her campaign. Wouldn't that just beat all if those ties could be made.

That's well-documented. I wrote Brit Hume's program the other day, asking him to interview Steve Emerson to trace out the exact relationship among terrorists, their organizations, their front groups, and the U.S. politicians (including Hillary) who have ties with them. Emerson was interviewed (missed it, though), but I don't think he mentioned U.S. political involvement. We should fight our enemies, even if some of them happen to be our congresscritters. Maybe Fox News will get down and dirty now.

He has his contract now, he isn't as wishy-washy as he was before it was signed. I sent an e-mail to his producer, and asked him to pass it along to Batchelor and Alexander if Sean won't touch it. We shall see.

I have a feeling the CIA, FBI, DOJ and other alphabet soup depts. will not allow themselves to shoulder the blame for this.

As much as we complain and criticize, there are good people in the ranks. Leadership has sucked the past eight years. Instead of sh*t rolling downhill, it's time for those who sat perched at the top to be held accountable. I want to hear them publicly address these charges, not send Leslie Stahl out to do thier damage control. Do I need to name names?

Former Admiral Woosley resigned but I can't find when. Used to be able to go to the CIA site and find the former directors immediately. Checking another source to see if I can find who the director was at that time!

Hey, maybe Spielberg will make a movie about the brave hollywood mogul heroic struggle to stop video piracy in it's tracks - call it: "Saving Private Ryans' Profits".

Geffin, Spielberg, Hanks and the other big time Hollywierd Clinton money men are likely working on scripts for some new blockbuster WW III flick, Saving Private Ali or something like that --- if they don't get turned into radioactive cinders or come down with Anthrax first.

The world is their stage.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Bin Laden was one of the dozens of international criminals that joined Bubba for coffee in the White House. Slick: "I vaguely remember him - I didn't know who he was. I learned about this in the newspaper today. I've been very candid about that."

"And x42 had the gaul to show up in lower Manhatten!"

Well of course he did, there were lots of women to feel, most of them too stunned to notice, let alone object. No need to overpower, or even get them drunk. A ready-made opportunity. Didn't you see the coverage of him "comforting" them on the street?
