As time goes on, I expect more and more Americans to start asking why Clinton was asleep at the switch for eight years regarding terrorism.
He literally did NOTHING.

According to newyorkpost.com we had three of them in jail back in June in NY but turned them loose.

This just reinforces how easy it is to slip into and out of the United States. And notice that no one is even touching the subject of our sacrosanct, sieve-like, Nafta-loving, drug-running Mexican border. (Slip in over the border for some terrorism--Slip back out after completion of the attack.)

According to Al Martin Raw, the Redstone Arsenal trains foreign "military" types with questionable backgrounds.

I still think the raid in Dallas was part of their investigation. I believe they had a suspicion but they just couldn't get there in time; or the hijackers went early in order that the FBI didn't find them in time. I'm voting for the second thought - because it has become clear there were many other attacks planned - but because the FBI was getting too close, they went early before all the final plans were in place for all the other attacks.

Sure, the FBI was onto the enemy three weeks ago. They were probably trying to figure a way to run a sting on them just like the time they practically built the bomb for them in '93, lost them and looked everywhere except at the known target building for them.
They would have been better off to just admit that they didn't have a clue, as usual, because they didn't have a snitch. Of course, it'd still be hard to explain why they turned down the snitches who tried to get up with them.
Federal law enforcement is good at one thing, framing American citizens for crimes that haven't happened or that were committed by others who are never found. Arson, they're getting better at, though.

At least eight managed to escape the huge FBI dragnet and slipped into MexicoWhat happened to that big manhunt in Mexico we heard so much about a few days ago? Have you heard any news on that front?

In view of how quickly Ashcroft & Bush have moved to cover up the evidence of collusion with the terrorists by elements in our own government, I am not hopeful. I am stunned that they think they can stop terrorism without cleaning house. The sad part is that I suspect they will do a far better job of covering it up than Toon did. The only good thing about the attempt on Bush is that it may have opened his eyes.
