I admit that the remarks about treason are over the top, but I certainly don't agree that the posters you've singled out are "curs". I see them as good Americans who know when it's time to pull together and are justified in their anger towards those who would divide us. I also saw many of them supporting the honorable fire fighters and LEO's in the Beck matter. Demidog has no sense of propriety...it's all about winning an arguement. This is not the time.

I don't think I've seen so much sorrow and grief from someone since my aunt put down that smelly little yappie dog of hers.

Kind of a sad sight.

"Even the RATS of the NYT are going to have to pretend they like W for a few days. This won't last."

Do a little research and check out my Alabama buddy who just took over running the NYT.

CNN gets Paula Zahn and the NYT gets a Southerner to lead it back into respectability.

These times, they are a changing...

I respect you as a veteran and as a human being, tpaine, but not as a Constitutional lawyer. ;)

You creeps on my cowards list don't blame the government for ANYthing.

Shall I start listing threads to get that foot in your mouth AGAIN? Because we don't side with every person or group that opposes our government does not justify the statement you made. You are the extremist.

Just as Koresh perverted Christianity, just as Usama perverts the teachings of Islam, you pervert conservatism. I'm not saying you are anywhere near as bad as those two, but you do take an extreme.

Hey, you got some thread 'lists', post them. I'm sure that no one here has a clue what in hell you mean, or what these lists would prove, --- but DO IT.

You've played this silly game before. Put up or shut up.

In fact, you all seem to think this crisis is just another opportunity to play more silly political grab ass games. You drip with pious patriotic fervor as you rake your FR foes over the coals of political correctness - cultural jihad version.

Really weird behavior, considering your avowed 'patriotic' purpose to unify our resolve.

Hey, you got some thread 'lists'...

here are two from the past 2 days. I don't need to post more because, you said ANYTHING.

Senate OK's FBI Net Spying (Goodbye 4th Amendment) Particularly post #96

Ron Paul Introduces Aviation Safety Legislation

Again, you are an EXTREMIST. We morn our dead, you look for how to place blame on our government. We ready for WAR, you look for how to blame the goverment.

Absolutely loony tunes. -- Why you think those threads prove anything about you, OR disprove anything I've said, is beyond my skill at psychoanalysis .

You call me an extremist with no proof.
--- The evidence of government bumbling of foreign relations lies all about us, & you blame those who comment about it, who search for reasons, so that we can avoid 9/11's in the future.

We can both prepare for war AND discuss the causes of 9/11 simultainously. --- You and the jihadi are merely attempting to silence your political foes.

This thread is too long, and the subject has been beat to death. I suggest we agree to disagree, - and stop the flag waving name calling.

This is war. All caring and patriotic Americans are standing together. Political criticism should be muted now. We need to think of our country and our country's future first and foremost.

We may disagree with Democrats and others, but we are all Americans.

I agree to disagree, but I have a last point.

who search for reasons

Tpaine, something I hope you have learned in your life is that the RIGHT thing to do, is usually going to be the hardest and most difficult. Sure, we could ignore all other nations, and be a wuss like the swiss. Sure we could turn our heads from injustice, as long as it is not on our land. But is it the RIGHT thing to do. NO, it is the easiest.

So the reason why people do this to us, is because we stand up for what is RIGHT, and JUST. They despise our morality. We are Jew lovers to them. And to them, that is an insult. They wish the death of all Jews and they want nothing less than ALL of Jerusalem.

They also cannot stand that we keep Saddam in check. Yes we should have killed him years ago, and that was a government blunder that I profess to this day. But still that does not give Saddam the right to build weapons when HE lost the WAR. He forced us to kill people in order to keep him from massing a dangerous arsenal. Just as the terrorists would have forced the military to shoot down innocent passengers if they had had a bird in the air next to the WTC.

Tpaine, do not dare excuse these monster's behavior, and do not dare blame our nation. We are in the RIGHT. And they are soon to be in the DEAD.

As usual, you prove to be a sophomoric twit, preaching to the choir, as tho I or anyone at FR needed your platitudes. THEN you infer I am still being soft on terrorists, or some such nonsense. There will never be a last word between us, when you use these type tactics.
Now, I will give you the last word, here. Wail away as you will, I won't read to reply.

So you do not blame our foreign policy for the attack?

It was a shame to see the personal attacks on you three by those who refuse to rise above their emotions to debate serious issues of liberty on an intellectual level. Intelligent, thoughtful discussion is what FR should be about. Sadly, it didn't take long for the statists to utterly ruin any chance for real debate on this thread. I honestly couldn't believe some of the things I was reading.

A much-deserved BUMP for three patriots who, unlike many of their fellow FReepers, understand that "patriotism" and "nationalism" are two different things. What we have been seeing here on FR is the latter. If "patriotism" is defined as blind, unquestioning loyalty to one's nation, then the Nazis should stand as the epitome of what patriots should be. However, blind, unquestioning loyalty is descriptive of "nationalism." A true patriot understands, regardless of the circumstances, that supporting the constitutional principles of our forefathers comes first. Government leaders can and should be scrutinized during times of crisis as well as during times of peace-- perhaps even more so. It is during times of crisis that the government is more apt to strip us of our liberty.

In case the NYT didn't know it, George Bush was President of the ENTIRE United States prior to Spetember 11.

It is only the practitioners of FEAR, DIVISION, and HATRED, led by the NYT and the Washington Post, that fueled otherwise!
