"Violence begets violence, and we don't want that to happen. That kills people," she told her colleagues. Men doing nothing when evil abounds kills people.

Well, about all you can say about this poor lady is that she certainly represents her district well. I guess she is what the terrorists would consider a "useful idiot" for their cause.

But I suspect that even in Berkeley, there are constituents of Rep. Lee for whom her latest departure from sanity is too much. I suspect that John Fund hopes for too much from Lee's constituents. Not enough will care. Fund's heart is in the right place, though.

John Fund is very smart with a lot of common sense and I respect him. I've caught him a few times on CNBC with Chris Matthews, since I don't watch CNBC anymore I haven't seen him in a while. I wish he'd appear on Fox sometimes, the only channel I watch for news. Howard Finneman is also not bad, with good common sense, also he just wrote a nice piece about the President. Anyway Fox would do nice to add Mr. Fund and Mr. Finneman to its team.

I'll tell you who Barbara Lee is: she's a disgrace to this nation. She spits on the memory of five thousand innocent civilians, rescue workers, airline passengers and others who died on Tuesday. She is a vicious, vile, un-American person who should be deported to Afghanistan, immediately, preferably strapped to a very powerful missle.

I seem to recall great platitudes being spoken by the Repubicans in the House, I can see Dick Armey in my mind right now giving praise from both ends of foggy bottom, about Dellums when he retired.
I'm sure when Bob Barr retires Sheila Jackson Lee and Maxine 'ol prune face Waters will be heard on the House floor saying "he was a warrior for his beliefs who always could be respected for staying true to his vision of America"
Yea right.
Just for the record that wasn't a spelling error.

I challenge this-this person to walk down the street in Kabul at the tender mercies of the Taliban.

I don't know whether any other freepers caught MSNBC's town hall tonight from 9-11 est hosted by Forrest Sawyer. Ms. Lee's sentiment seem fairly common among the Al Sharpton constituency. It was very sad -- one of the members of the audience was the son of the Fire Department Deputy Commissioner Danci, and it was tragic that in his time of sorrow there were members of this audience who could do nothing but complain about how they are treated in the U.S. and demand that we find "common ground" with the Taliban. I was screaming at the tv: "How do you find common ground with people that order that women be covered from head to toe, can't leave their house unaccompanied by a male relative, can't have jobs except for physician and that is only to examine women, and can't be educated?" (and if that isn't enough, add): "and believe that homosexuals should be stoned to death?"

Trained by Ron Dellums, an outright traitor, not surprising.

Why in the world would we believe anything you post?
You smear John Fund with some story that you made up?
Would you care to comment on the reprobate Barbara Lee, or did you drag your sorry a** on this thread to smear?

We're talking about extremists who are the embodiment of political incorrectness and the liberals want to find common ground with them? Are they so insane they don't see the contradiction? Or is their loathing and contempt of America and President Bush even greater than the political incorrectness that the Taliban stands for?

When the young woman became preganant and told Fund she was going to have an abortion, he said go ahead OOPS!!! in that case, we need to send both him and Barbara Lee to Afganistan just before we start dropping the bombs. If there is one thing I can't stand is a hypocrite.
