rob.....Perhaps now the Federal Cowboys will turn from bashing in the doors of Americans on any whim and expend their energy on the enemies of America.

I think the one great thing that has happened this week the term "patriot" is no longer the code word of the left and is back where it belongs.....Mel Gibson helped a little as well :-)

It appears that was a requirement to work in the previous administration.

Yeah, Looey. You got more to worry about from hard-working American stiffs than from some hanky-head bomb-thrower. How did you ever rise above your job as night janitor at 7-11?

Everybody knows that! (Especially the flannel shirted ones) People like that have no business being in law enforcement. (I noted the sarcasm tag).

rob.....One can recall the millions spent at Ruby Ridge, for one man, for a firearms violation that led to wrongful deaths. Then the FBI and other Federal Cowboys have the temerity to say they have not had enough resources to keep vigil of the foreign terrorists that abound in the United States. Perhaps the govenment has had its eyes opened as to whom the real enemy is and where they are.

Ron: I understand your feelings, but McVeigh is no better then these Muslim fanatics. Freeh did catch McVeigh after all. Yes, it was time for Freeh to go, but I believe he was an honorable person. Every law enforcement agency has screwed up, it can't micro-manage every worker or aspect of its operations. I know the Freeh family personaly and while I'm willing to admit there were mistakes made, his loyalty to this country is awesome. The only reason why Klinton never got rid of him was because both Repbulicans and Dems found him to extremely honest and forthcoming. I know personally when you look at the complexity of the legal system and the amount of crime that is out there it is no wonder that mistakes like this unfold.

Waco,Ruby Ridge etc were all designed to discredit and silence conservatives and with the help of the lame stream press they were very effective ...these same tactics help explain the motives of the folks who push "PC"...it is such a lame tactic I am still surprised how many fell for it...

That's what happens when you get lawyers and not police officers of the beat to run things at the FBI. THe FBI has been rotten to the core by lawyers.

"Indeed, Freeh told Congress that the main threat of terrorist violence comes not from foreign sources but from the overlapping constituencies of the far right..."Speaking as one from the "far right".......Louie Freeh can kiss my lily white, Confederate flag waving @ss. Bill, Janet and Louie should all have to stand trail for their crimes.

"...Didn't Hillary Clinton actually embrace and kiss Arafat's wife?..." Do you suppose that's all that happened?
And, if there was more, did she let Bill watch?

Can I disagree here....the big beef I have with him was he signed off on Project Megiddo which in large part said
Conservative Christian=Right-wing Extremist=Domestic Terrorist
For your reading pleasure:
The Making of Project Megiddo & THE SECRET AGENDA TO DESTROY CHRISTIANITY IN AMERICA
This is a two-part study entitled The Making of Project Megiddo & The Secret Agenda to Destroy Christianity in America. It delves into the FBI's Project Megiddo (PM) report and into the writings of the three primary outside authorities who, it is believed, were relied upon for the report's support material. It appears that the personal beliefs and agendas of these sources are in large part now reflected in the government report.
