On a day of national mourning and prayer, a Boca Raton company had its managers confiscate some American flags from employees' cubicles, saying other workers might find them offensive.

Aren't the employees within their rights to freedom of speach? Nasty letter sent...

We should post the names of all unpatriotic companies for all Americans to see and call for a boycott.

Our flag represents the United States of America. Our country is not perfect, but it is the best in the world.
Our flag represents freedom and democracy.
If someone in this country finds our flag offensive, as far as I am concerned,
that person is not an American.
He should get the hell out, and go to a truely (in his warped mind) wonderful country like Cuba.

Contact CEO Schrempf:
Main phone: 561-893-1000
Fax: 561-917-7025
The last name of NCCI's CEO is "Schrempf." When prompted, go to the company directory and then punch in the first three or four letters of Schrempf's name. You'll get his extension and voice mail.
Does anybody have a home phone number for this leftwing a-hole?

the company has a long-standing policy of prohibiting employees from bringing political or religious symbols into the workplace.
I wonder what political party this id10t thinks old glory stands for or what religion?

I'd love to be there to FREEP this clown outfit doing business in America but can't; so leaving it to the Florida chapter to FREEP there Monday. However, I did email the first post to over 100 different news outlets in America! Maybe we can get this dumba## fired.....it's obvious to me he doesn't deserve American money......Wonder if he housed the terrorists while they trained in Florida???

Has anyone sent this to Rush, Sean Hannity, and GG Liddy?

Gees, I'm sure they would condone then workers watching TV and cheering as the tower falls over.

Who the hell are these other workers who find being an American offensive? They should be deported or thrown in jail for treason. Isn't their something President Bush can do by giving an Executive Order to arrest anyone acting un-American. Start by arresting the management in this company.

Sent this morning to Bill Schrempf:
Mr. Bill Schrempf:
I think you and your company and a disgrace. To remove the American Flag on the national day of mourning declared by our president is contemptable. Regardless of the number of flags displayed, you would not hesitate to silence the entire company if one person was offended by a single word. Do you think the people you took it away from were offended?
Has it occured to you the number of flags displayed has anything to do with the muzzle you place on your employees every day? What do you talk about? What you had for dinner last night? Would it offend someone if you had pork or red meat? Scratch that discussion.
The Queen of England has more class and a better understanding of "long standing traditions" than you do, sir. Thank God that flag you had the audacity to remove stands. Not you, nor Bin Laden will be able to silence it.
Rest assured I will avoid any interaction with anything that has your fingerprint on it. And it is an easy task to find out what your company is involved in.
Shame on you, sir.

Workmans Comp. Does anybody want to go there? Here is what I have gleaned from co-workers experiences: I live in a State where you can not sue your employer. It appears employers have banded together to pay health insurance costs at facilities they control although the State may act like they are in control. Do you have a local workmans comp. center? Well as we all know it costs companies money when workers are off on disabilities. What better way of controling this then controling the med. facilites that treat them? A co-worker with some 30 years service was in such a state of poor health that he could no longer do his job. It was only out of concern by his fellow workers that the company finally sent him for a check up. The returned him to the job as fit. Nothing improved for him. In facr it went the other way. He finally decided to take retirement although he was 52. Within 15 months he was dead.

I have written to the governor of my State along with the article and have asked him to see if we do any business with them. I would urge all freepers to contact their State governments about this matter since they seem to do business with those government's primarily.

NCCI is the only Florida company named in the 2001 Best Workplace for Financial Professionals by CFO magazine in its September issue. It was singled out for its "quality of work life." NCCI's "company practices enable each employee to create for themselves the proper balance of work and family life," CFO said.
NCCI provides on-site amenities, including child care, gym and a Starbucks cafe. It also has an employee-community volunteer program and flexible work scheduling.
NCCI also advertises its services and places want ads in the Palm Beach Post, heh-heh. 8-D

Let's remember there are lots of Vietnam-era Democrats out there who are still offended by displays ofultra-nationalism. If you must fly a US flag, how about flying a Viet Cong, IRA, or Palestinian flag as well to show you're not some kind of KKK Nazi?I hope you're joking. If the day has come that flying Old Glory alone identifies me as a KKK Nazi then I guess it's time to begin the new revo.
