DO NOT POST ANY MILITARY INFORMATION YOU HAVE
It is imperative during this time period that no one and I mean no one post any information they have about our military except to report on the crash of the plane at the Pentagon. There have been several postings tonight giving information about bases near where they live -- please do not discuss your local bases on the open forum. Use freeper mail to people you know.
Our men and women of the Armed Forces will most likely be put in harm's way soon enough without our telling people what is going on in our areas. Please think before you post. Whether a strike is in the near future or six months away, keep your mouths shut about military activities in your area that are not already in the press.
Thank you much!
God Bless our military, our President, and the United States of America!
Please freepers, think before posting anything that could be used by the enemies of this Country. Treat any information you have as classified!

Important to keep eyewitness accounts of troop, fleet, and air movements under wraps. The Jihadists do lurk at sites like this. However, you will probably see disinformation coming out of the Pentagon in short order. It's okay to play along with that, I susect.
Be Seeing You,

I saw that PBS show that you are referring to many years ago. It was the beginning of my distaste for the media in general, and Rather in particular.

Maybe we should start emailing the pictures to them, and keep doing that until they get the message (the media types are very dense -- after sending it 100,000 times, they might get the general idea.

Thank you so much! I was hoping someone would do a Thread II and put it in Breaking News. I was answering my freeper mail after just getting back from taking my daughter to school and when I finished, I saw this and was really glad because it took me forever to read the other Thread and was thinking it needed a Thread II! You came to the rescue!

Thanks for re-posting this Hugh. I would encourage everyone to call media and point this out, and also point out that their job right now is to boost the morale of the country as well.

Things calm out here in Galapagos. Radio traffic back to normal, after many hours of many languages jamming the airways with "WHAT?"
Spent last evening at a party aboard a German friend's yatch with people from several nations, most supportive of USA.

Then the Marine Colonel said "and if you American journalists get into trouble, who will be sent to save you? Young American Marines, and a few will probably be killed trying to rescue you from the situation you got yourself into... The room was strangly silent.
GOOD ... It's about time someone shut this MORONS up .. I think more should speak out and shut the rest of the Liberal Media up .. Hit them with the truth and leave them in shock ..
Personally I wouldn't help the Liberal Media out .. but that just goes to show that our brave men and women are better people than I ...
We must not let the Liberal Media put our men and women in harms way ...

That is an excellent idea -- mail them to the media! I am sick and tired of turning on my TV like late last night and seeing the Pentagon reporter for MSNBC showing a graphic where our carrier fleets are located. I certainly didn't have a "NEED TO KNOW!" and neither did any other person in this Country that is not in the Chain of Command.
I despise the press more by the day if possible. I want to make sure that no one monitoring this site is going to get any information they can use! Make them work for any information, not hand it to them on a silver platter!

I would add, don't even freep mail anyone. Keep silent.
