THE WATCHMAN
Flatten them
© 2001 WorldNetDaily.com
The charred body parts of Tuesday's victims aren't even buried and I've already begun to hear the pacifism of columnists and others: "Violence begets violence." "This should be a measured response."
I don't think so.
Tell me again: How many men, women and children died this time? Thousands? Most likely. Tens of thousands? Possibly.
When are we ever going to learn? Appeasement does not work! It never has. It never will. The Israelis, God bless them, offered Arafat nearly everything he wanted his response was to murder more Israelis. The U.S. has ignored China's ongoing and appalling violations of human rights and so China has continued to abuse millions of their own people and some of ours. History is replete with such examples.
By way of contrast, when President Reagan stood firm against the Soviet Union, the Berlin Wall came down. When we dropped the atomic bomb on Japan, they surrendered. History is equally as clear that the power-hungry and ego-maniacal respect only one thing: a big stick.
Regrettably, it is now thousands of human lives past time to use that big stick. But let's not fail to do so any longer. Let's take that stick and beat the cowards that perpetrated this crime against humanity into the ground. As Deroy Murdock has suggested, let's flatten them. Into oblivion. And let us not even think twice about doing so.
Will innocents die if we do so? Regrettably, yes. Hopefully as few as possible. But the simple fact is, on Tuesday, a huge number of innocents already did die. And many more innocents will continue to die unless we take action now.
How high must the body count be? Would these pacifists like to wait until the miserable animals behind this attack finally get lucky enough to sneak a nuclear bomb into the United States and kill millions of people? Or perhaps they would prefer to wait until some nasty biochem weapon annihilates half our population.
This must stop and stop now.
President Bush should destroy Osama bin Laden and "Sodamned Insane" both. Who cares which one of them did it this time? They both are a menace to free and innocent people everywhere. Time to turn both their lights off permanently.
And to the Israelis, I say this: Use this opportunity while it is within your grasp and before more of your people die. Drive Arafat and his supporters out of the land God gave to you and never let them return. Give them notice to pick up and leave peacefully and destroy those who defiantly remain. And, as in the days of Lot, don't look back.
For Education And Disscussion Only. Not For Commercial Use.
The stench of death is everywhere -- the soot, the dust, the smoke still blankets the air.
On the ground, burnt, bombed-out vehicles litter the streets, a jarring testament to the blazing horror hours earlier.
Where once proudly stood the towering World Trade Center -- till yesterday, that bold symbol of American triumph and achievement, a powerful slice of Americana itself -- now only a smoldering heap of crumpled metal and devastation remains.
Where once tens of thousands lived and worked -- a pulsating, resonating, throbbing tribute to our indomitable spirit, the prowess and grit which makes us uniquely American -- now only charcoal bones and charred bodies remain.
What kind of animals would perpetrate such vile, cowardly, ghastly acts of unspeakable cruelty?
What kind of demented mind would even countenance such demonic doings -- such hideous, gruesome, repugnant and detestable deeds -- let alone carry them out?
The victims of yesterday's exploits were innocent Americans, going about their daily lives; they were not combantants -- they were mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, sisters and brothers, aunts and uncles and grandparents -- human beings snuffed out in one swift orgy of senseless carnage.
In one hell hour, thousands of Americans were incinerated -- hurled to their fiery graves for no reason nor purpose.
These were not the acts of religion, for no religion condones the wanton slaughter of thousands of innocents. The Koran utterly condemns the shedding of blood.
Nor were these the acts of soldiers, for there is no courage nor valor in massacring thousands of defenseless civilians.
No, these were the acts of despicable cowards, of lily-livered plotroons. These craven milksops flee their own shadows.
But the biggest coward of all is none other than the gang ringleader himself, Osama Bin Laden. Mounting evidence points to him as the chief culprit.
As the Bush administration confronts what will likely become the gravest crisis of his first term, the unity and support of Americans has never been stronger. A nation has coalesced behind its commander-in-chief with unshakable indivisibility.
This is not the feckless, timorous Clinton administration, after all.
Nor is it the Gore administration (perish the thought).
Chills run up and down my spine merely at the thought of how close Gore came to stealing the election. I can't even begin to fathom how, with Albert Jr. at the helm, our nation would even cope or come to grips of with any of this.
Thank God the adults are back in charge.
Despite yesterday's bloodbath, already one can hear the namby-pamby voices of appeasement.
Their watchword is "Proportionality".
"The retaliation must be proportional to the crime", they insist.
I say balderdash.
That would be a recipe -- an open invitation, in fact -- for more terrorism.
President Reagan summed it up best: Peace through strength.
The Osama Bin Ladens of the world are not diplomats with whom we could reason; they are fringe, homocidal cowards versed in only one language -- that language is brute force.
And brute force is what they shall get.
No nukes -- but swift, incisive, systematic and massive retaliation -- proportional, not to the crime, but proportional to America's conventional military strength.
That's the Bush doctrine -- one which that phony "religionist", Osama Bin Laden, is poised to become intimately familiar with.
But it will not suffice for Kabul -- out of fear of retaliation -- to turn over Osama to U.S. authorities now. For years, the United States government demanded his extradition. The Taliban ignored such requests.
Now, thousands of Americans are dead -- as a result.
Their murders cry out for justice.
My two cents..

Sorry, John, yes nukes.
This is a war, plain and simple, this was not a "terrorist attack", this was an act of war.
It is now up to the President and his cabinet to conduct this war with the aim of rooting out OBL, everyone of his ilk, AND DESTROYING ALL THE GOVERNMENTS WHO GAVE HIM AND HIS ILK AID AND SUPPORT. It is the President's job to conduct this war with a MINIMUM LOSS OF AMERICAN LIVES.
These pissants think they can play poke the bear because the US would not dare use nukes. They must be proven wrong NOW.
Unless the US wants to suffer this again, it must strike back swiftly and terribly.
Good find!
bin laden made a big mistake by not reading his history!!!
Sleep? What's that? hehehe
Exactly!
We need to start speaking their language, so there is NO misunderstanding!
Thanks John!
DO IT NOW. WE MUST USE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO STABILIZE THE MIDEAST AND NEUTRALIZE TERRORISM.
BUMP
In the old administration, I would feel the same way. However, considering the fact that GW is surrounded by many Desert Storm veterans, not to mention that he is probably receiving some counsel from his father (a former CIA director before becoming Prez 41), I think there will be retribution. It may take some time (hopefully not much), but this is where that patience he talked about comes in.
I also think that, of all the press conferences we are seeing, many in the administration are playing their cards close to their chests. They will only say just so much without tipping off the enemy. So, if Colin Powell sounds somewhat restrained (as some certain talk show hosts are saying) it's only because he doesn't want to give away our plans.
